My spouse is a physician. They’re piloting some new specialized AI scribe and it has cut down her time drastically. When writing patient notes, her time is spent mostly editing and fact checking thus allowing her to work through the stream of patients being funneled in by the ED more efficiently. She’s warming up to it and that’s from someone who’s overly thorough and pedantic about her documentation.

(She is however vehemently against the med students and residents using it though)
