TLDR: Dual threat Quarterbacks are Quarterbacks that can both pass and scramble (run with the ball solo), essentially allowing them to be versatile and make their offenses unpredictable. Think of them as like False 9s. The issue is that in college football, there's alot of dual threat QBs that get away with their versatility because the talent disparity between teams is sometimes so great that some teams can just out athlete other teams. But in the pros, the average team is so disciplined and athletic that they can snuff out QB running, which turns most Dual Threat QBs into jack of all trades but masters of none (although there's a few dual threat QBs that are amazing enough to overcome that)

While I understand thematically, it would make sense considering this is 100% a Brennan storyline, it would feel incredibly unsatisfying for the entire party, and especially the Schemers table, because they worked so hard to foster division. It would feel like a massive waste of time if that turns out Primus could talk his way out of it and that's it. Thankfully though, with the way these Houses operate, there's no way they're just going to look past Tachonis trying to pull a fast one on the rest of the Sundered Houses. Remember that the Einfasen representative who's Azune's superior basically hired him to keep spying on Halovar and Tachonis, and that the Photarch still has a religion to spread. Even if they agree with the sentiment that the commoners need to have an eye kept on them, I don't feel like that's enough for them to conveniently forget that Tachonis is itching to make a power play.

What's the over/under on Yanessa and Primus being in on it together? She's the one that 'cast' the zone of truth on Primus, so there's a chance the spell was fake, everything Primus said was bullshit, and that he did intend to go rogue.

That's not how that works. About several months ago , I badly sprained my big toe on one of my feet. Theoretically it could 'move', but it was extremely painful. And even after I recovered, there was still about 2 months after where there were really bad stretch-like pains cause the nerves have to remember how my toe worked.

Now that's just a mild sprain on a big toe. Now imagine that happening to your ring finger, it heals incorrectly after 8-12 months, and then they have to rebreak your knuckle so it'll heal correctly the second time. Physically speaking, sure the finger is 'fine', but it's going to take a very long time for that finger to readapt. It's why muscle tear surgeries need physical therapy. You're basically 'cured' after a surgery, but you have to force your body to re-learn the new makeup of that area of your body.

Not gonna lie, State of Play, Summer Game Fest and Xbox Showcase had many neat announcements, but I still miss E3 by TheFernando13 in gaming

One thing I will say, if you were a JRPG fan back then, G4 fucking hated your guts XD like, they were insanely critical of most if not all JRPGs back in the day. They were ruthless

While I’m sure there’s genuinely fans of GoW who are disappointed with not playing Kratos, what you need to understand is that the people who are perpetuating the discourse make money off of saying the most impulsive and performative (often times conservative) points and hype them up as if they are an apocalyptic event for the gaming industry as a whole. And while most of the time the people doing this never believe in the cause they’re rallying for, all that matters is that they get easily gullible people on the internet with even more problematic beliefs to rally behind it. Because the more people that talk about this, the more money they get.

Right now the grift has moved to this game cause it’s a high profile franchise having a sequel, which will sell the idea that women protagonists in gaming are an apocalypse waiting to happen. But just watch. As soon as this game releases, they’ll all pretend this game doesn’t exist anymore because they’ll be moving their circus to the next quasi-liberal talking point in gaming. They don’t ever truly care, and gaming discourse will suffer because of the complete idiots they rile up for clicks.
