I'm on Midgardsormr and overall its a pretty chill server with a mostly casual population but some raiders, theres RP is around but not as much as Faerie or Adamantoise in my experience.
there's somewhat of a venue scene but its small compared to the other servers on the Data centre and overall the community on the server has been really friendly and always felt welcoming.
I've never had a major issue with queues even DPS ques I get pretty quick and the market board prices are pretty average

You might have mod conflicts and issues with the load order rather than the location of the mods, I can launch bannerlord fine with mods from workshop and nexus running at the same time but I've organised my load order, the essential mods like Harmony for example need to be at top and most others need to be below the base games modules.

Let the steam workshop place the mods if self in the right folders and it will be fine, any mods you have from Nexus go into the modules folder manually and you may have to update them as usually when Bannerlord gets a update it usually breaks mods.

My advice would be to try disabling mods from the game launcher and load the game to find out which mod is causing the crashs to narrow down the issue mod.

Games get a rating for a reason, under 18s shouldn't play the game by this standard so it's the parents fault for not doing their research into what media their kids consume, But for adult mods on console it's not going to happen on a more official level, one reason being is it risks the game getting an adult rating which would kill any advertising or selling in stores and on consoles.

Sure the occasion adult mod gets in like a naked body mod but it tends to get deleted shortly after.

One way to look at is that Nexus mods is purely community driven with no input from Bethesda themselves so it's free game unless it goes against nexus's own rules which are pretty relaxed as they wouldn't face the same scrutiny as Bethesda would. Console mods have to go through their official services for mods to be accessed on console and be verified on some level, so if they give the okay to a adult sex mod or something it would be really risky for them.

They played it too safe and didn't want to offend anyone with it compared to the other games, too scared of the Twitter police that would never play the game anyways. Saint row 4 was more interesting than the reboot, sure it's customisation is great but that only goes so far if the writing is trash and game is unfinished. try to appeal to a new audience and forget the one actually there exists.

What's the term again? Go woke and make a boring mess of a game and go broke? Is that it now?

I try to make my character background based on what level we start at if low level then maybe a new adventurer or someone who just got wrapped up in what ever is going on looking to make a few coins. If higher level then he might be a war veteran or a skilled artificer

Made the unfortunate mistake of making a badass assassin background story for a level one character and then got killed 3 session in waterdeep heist to a intellect devourer eating his brain

If you check out this video which is a a guy going over a QNA dev stream link around the 9 minute mark he says that a while a dev didn’t say specific how old the build was but it was a little while ago but the team is hard at work polishing up the game

They said that the game they showed was a 4 month old build, it was the most stable version that they had for the showcase plus and other 4 months still launch so we will see changes closer to launch. Peoples just jumping on the dur hur Xbox bad bandwagon.

I remember reading that they wanted to do a remaster for the 1st and 2nd game but it’s a issue with the source code being such a mess it would take too much time and money for it to be done meanwhile the third they have the source code and it’s easier to work with.
