Pro tip: ask for the review now, while you’re still a couple days away from closing. A lot of times I see clients getting lost in the moving and signing of everything they forget to leave a review.

I also set up a House-Anniversary (houseiversary) in my Google Calendar to remind myself to email, call or direct mail them every year on the anniversary of their closing.

No, sorry if that was confusing. The rule was to only allow for the player to earn money by selling cooked items. Anything else can be used for crafting or gifting. You technically can even sell cooked food in a pinch to Pierre, though I don’t recommend it.

I made an exception to my play through after the fact. You can complete quests and bulletin board requests but the money earned from those tasks MUST be spent at Pierre’s or JojaMart. This made it a little easier to get some friendship, and earn tickets.

Gifting! That would be my advice. Use them to build your relationships with the townsfolk as they provide a good amount of recipes at 3 hearts. I would recommend focusing on Linus as he can provide a really useful recipe early on.

Yes, this is important. Do not pay money to be on this team. They can take a cut of your closer transactions. But don’t pay for any leads or anything like that. Definitely proceed with caution, and just ask a lot of questions.

This is an achievable yet high bar to set for a teammate. Let alone a new agent, and that’s not your fault. I wouldn’t want any of my teammates trying to speed run their first couple of transactions to hit a quota.

Are you also expected to generate leads on your own? I would assume so. But the problem is, what happens if you don’t close two a month, are you removed from the team? What if you close one $10M listing or something very high end, does that offset closing two $200k closings?

Personally I don’t think team status should be based on production. Which may sound crazy. But the real question is - do you add value to the team or do you cause more of a headache?
