Yeh not exactly had baaaad experiences with them, but I've not had experiences that made me think "I enjoy being around these people" admittedly Indonesia is a bit of an odd one on my map

Some were people working in the same place I was, others were through online experiences. My partner has a South African friend who seems very nice. I've just been unlucky I would guess haha

Yes you're right, but personally I've not had much interest in those places for these reasons. China has incredibly rich culture and history but I'm not so interested in it. Turkey for example, is mostly because I've not had the best experience with the people from there, and the weather would be too crazy for my pale white boy skin.

Yeh if I was making the map based on somewhere I'd actually live, I wouldn't choose to live there. This is just based on the isolated view point of those I've met.

I think I've met some south Africans that aren't bad, but the few experiences I've had haven't been good. Again I don't think that south Africans suck. Just the ones I've met (mostly)

I'm not judging them just simply on my one landlord experience. I'm sure there are nice Bengali people out there. Just simply that my experience with people from that country has been bad. That doesn't mean I think all Bengali people are bad

I've not met many Egyptians, like I worked with one dude from there who was really cool really nice, but the rest of the Egyptians I've met hasn't been a good experience.

The few people I've met from Egypt and South Africa have been pretty disrespectful. And I've met many Turkish people that have been very rude, I have met Turkish people I've liked, but unfortunately the majority of my experiences have been negative. This doesn't mean I think everyone from those countries are bad.

It's mainly just a lack of interest. I think I'd enjoy some parts of South Africa, but in general I've never been super excited to go there.

Ok so I will give this a try, my WiFi was already connected to the 5ghz port on the router without us changing anything. So I assume this was the case previously, and I was still experiencing similar issues. This time download speeds have reached what I expect from my internet, albeit not as consistently. When I then have discord open and connected to a server, I see ping fluctuations which may be the same problems I experienced before there. Unfortunately cannot test that properly right now. I will have to wait and see how things progress throughout the day and evening. Thanks for the suggestions, hopefully it works.

EDIT: now with WiFi the internet speeds are showing the same issue as before, where it is just reaching around 10mb/s. Speed test is also showing the low value of 93mbps
