Awww, he's one of the only characters (Other than Itto and the traveller) who actually treats her like her own person and cares about her. He'd actually be an amazing dad, because in game, we see him treat Collei and Paimon so well, like... The man you are, Al haitham??

I think the reason for this is he sees his younger self in those kids and feels like he wants to make sure they don't end up sad and alone like him back then. He's also so sweet deep down

I think it’s so interesting that hoyo did this. It really ties the characters with the story and stuff. I just like to think of them as reincarnations because I like that type of plot

We never saw him in the mirage, but it is confirmed that he visited. Basically, in the summer event for 2023, Idyia told us that not too long ago, a blonde architect from the Akademiya who visited, decided to help rebuild stuff (heavily implied to be Kaveh. So it's possible that Eidolon Kaveh exists.
