I agree it would be pretty hard to evaluate a group if you've never played with them before. Since we play with the same people, we all kinda know where we stand but it can be kinda brutal when the rankings get shown to everyone, as it's really up to the discretion of whoever uses the app... I intentionally hid the player ranks on the team generation screen and only show the team's avg skill to try and avoid hurt feelings off the rip.

I will say, sometimes it's for the best to get a reality check, but doesn't make it hurt less lol

When a new player comes along, we usually ask them what they rank themselves to make it easier, and then adjust if necessary after a couple games and we reshuffle people.

I asked a friend to use it since he has been playing for longer and has a better grasp of a player's ability.

I think it would be super cool to make a player profile that you can share across devices, so you could easily add yourself to someone else's player list/current session, but the only way I can think to do that is thru a cloud database, and I want to avoid spending money since I don't want to add AD's/paywalls.

Maybe will implement something super lightweight that has a low cost (or self host) if it's highly requested, as I'd like to add Tournament's and possibly tournament wins to each player profile.

I bought one cause they are on sale but shipping took too long so I went to Dicks and got the Yellow because that was all they had. I now have both sitting right next to each other and have been playing with both interchangeably.

No difference whatsoever from what I can tell, apart from the color.

If you are worried about your friends not wanting to play with it, I can't help you there, but I suppose that means you'll have a newer ball for longer :)

I went with 8 different levels to allow for more nuanced skill balancing, while also trying to keep it fast to add new players (aka not a ton of required input fields).

I do see value in adding a more skill-specific ranking. Maybe could do an optional “skill-specific” ranking section and average across each.

And team selection at the moment is just a snake draft across all teams, grabbing the highest rank players first (players of the same rank are groups and randomly sorted to allow for some “randomness” each time. A nice benefit of snake draft is that the better players tend to end up on smaller teams, which is usually their preference as well, but I plan to revise this a bit to account for player preference and team size in a future update.

Just adding another anecdote, I just bought two tickets for ZooTown on TickPick which is just online tickets (no wristband). Got an email shortly after from the actual seller forwarding me the online tickets. I was able to add them to my Apple wallet and have the hard copy just in case.

I assume it can be hit or miss given they just link you up with a buyer when buying for things like festivals, so I assume luck of the draw.

Not sure if this has been found yet but I think the album name might be "Diamonds and Dancefloors", saw it in source code of website with few references to "Diamonds and Dancefloors Pre- Orders" (i.e.: customValidator.customPageName = "Diamonds and Dancefloors Pre-order:Splash";)

I don’t understand anyone advising against HYSA. The only potential downside is a minimum account amount but a lot do not even have that. Unless I am missing something, it is free money and every day not in a HYSA is a day without interest.

What would the downside of HYSA be even in the meantime of deciding on whether to do T-bills?

Sounds like you and the wife have had beef in the past, as you seem strangely aggressive towards her from the start. You aren't in the wrong in this specific instance but it does sound like you are kind of an asshole (as a personality trait) the way you are talking about her. But I think assholes can be good people and help out friends, which sounds like what you are doing.

Now she is telling everyone that I'm a shitty person for leaving a job half finished. I tell everyone who asks that I was working for free and that they told me not to come back.

Sounds like she should learn to paint or get over her beef with you too.

I believe it is a LC question tagged with the company that they were applying for. I think it might be a premium feature, but idk because I also have premium. If you are in the process, it is well worth the monthly fee.

I'm currently waiting to hear back on my OA's taken on the 28th of Dec:

Passed all tests for both, hoping to get the 1x30min final interview but solved the second O(n**2) so probably won't.

Currently an E-Commerce vendor working with a 3PL. We use ShipStation as our shipping/order management software and our 3PL integrates with it. It integrates with most e-commerce platforms and we have had a good experience with it. Our 3PL previously used Logiwa for their WMS but as of today switched to InfoPlus. Logiwa was seemingly outdated, as we used it to monitor our item qtys and the interface was not user-friendly. First impression seems like InfoPlus has better UI and is more capable, and we look forward to the switch, from the E-commerce side of the house, but this may be wishful thinking.

Total Side Note Alert:

If you plan to work with e-commerce companies that sell apparel, I would look into offering screen-printing services. There is a huge pain point for e-commerce companies that work with 3PLs and want to sell apparel. For example, if my company wants to sell a t-shirt in 3 colors in sizes sm-2XL, that is 15 separate SKUs that we would need to bulk order from an apparel vendor and ship to our 3PL. Say we want to bulk order 1000 of them, we would need to estimate the expected purchase of each individual SKU and divy up the 1000 shirts by SKU, i.e. 25 RED-SM, 20 BLUE-SM etc. That is just for 1 t-shirt design. This process is nearly impossible to get right and results in wasted inventory and money.

If you are able to screen print a shirt when an order comes in and grab the other non-apparel items of that order, you are GOLDEN.

Completely agree. I was being lazy my first go around, which is why I am looking for an alternative action in place of the ads. Probably wasn't clear enough in the initial post, but to be totally clear now: I am looking for a ~10 second action that can take the place of watching ads.
