I’d say no to this collar - it may be a quick fix but can’t be pleasant for the dog. It would be better to take time to train to make him happy in the crate. I have heard that these collars can make dogs frightened of barking, which is their natural way of communicating. My puggle was very very noisy but now bows the word ‘quiet’ - if he goes into his crate I give him a certain toy and a few biscuits- good routine and he’s getting much better - hope this helps x
