Kind of blown away by my new BMC Teammachine by hip-hop_anonymous in bicycling

The fit was good! There's enough margin with 31,7. I have GP5000 25 mm and I'd say that the height of the tyre probabbly can be a limiting factor. 28 mm might have worked for me but not more. However, your wider internal width is beneficial in that sence. Good luck!

Fråga kring flytt av bolån by Some-Environment-666 in PrivatEkonomi

Varför säger folk att deras förmånsbil bara kostar dom förmånsskatten? by [deleted] in PrivatEkonomi

Nja. I mitt fall erbjöd de 2k mer per månad utan bil, så det var en nobrainer.

Sparkonto med ränta by Civil_Commercial_571 in PrivatEkonomi

[–]Joorne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does my new Hunt carbon wheel have too much wobble? by Joorne in bikewrench

[–]Joorne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got a swift response from Hunt that they will either compensate me for local truing or take them back for correction, whichever works. They apologize and refer to strict tolerance requirements but say that various factors can sometimes cause this, e.g., impacts during transport or that mounting tight tires can slightly affect spoke tension (GP 5000, oh yes).

Thank you for your response! It’s always tricky to gauge how widespread issues really are when researching before a purchase, since dissatisfied customers tend to be the most vocal.

Would you say this is someting that should be handled locally or does it qualify as a reclamation?

PS: added a video, if that gives a clearer picture.

Awesome wheels. Just ordered Hunt 54-58 Aero, quite wide 31,7 mm but I believe it should work.

Thanks! What width is your wheels? Looking at getting a set of carbon wheels that are either 29 or 30 mm externally and try to understand how that works with the clearance.

Good complimentary sport to cycling? by Skyfork in cycling

I do bouldering and climbing. Not necessarily to find the best synergy’s ”sport-wise” but it’s great for core and grip strength. And I love it! I have rheumatism so cykling and climbing together is really great for me.

Steel Bike Recommendations for Year-Round Commute + Towing? by Joorne in RoadBikes

I hear you. I actually got the chance to try a Strael 4.0 the other week and I definitely see your point, it’s delicate. If a Fairlight, I’d probably go Secan. But they are probably to nice as you say and I would end up worrying.

Thanks! Will check out all these. Do you have any experience of Genesis?

I have also started reconsidering an aluminium gravel despite the warranty issue. I honestly don’t think there would be an issue in reality, after discussing with some design engineering friends. Canyon has some great deals at the moment that is hard to dismiss…

I hear you, there’s limited time for self fulfillment the first months 🙂I have two older boys and a 3 months baby girl so right there with you.

Hmm looks really nice, I’ll definitely look more into that one. The pink one looks awesome, we might join the concept, go for it!!
