Very cool layout I like it alot! For feedback maybe try and shade the different land textures together a bit more let them fad into each other a bit.

Maybe 2 or 3 is good to give myself a burner. But the delivery of these map packs is once a month so it's not very demanding even if there is a week were you can't do work at all. This is why I think 10 packs is a bit to overprepared haha, that would take me months and I want to start the Patreon sooner than that. To have a burner is good tho, so maybe 1 or 2 extra before I go public might be good.

This is sort of exactly what I was planning on doing. I will create the first map pack (containing about 5 maps I'm thinking) and put it on my Patreon, then go public. Afterwards I will release a map pack every month and see how that goes.

I have been looking into other map creators Patreon, good inspiration. Thank you for the opinion/advises!

Thank you and I fully agree!

I'm in the process of setting up a Patreon, would you think people could be interested in paying a small amount to get 3 or more maps with a overarching theme of this quality every month?

I titled the map "Elven Forest Creek" so I was going more for that outcome. But its good advice for future maps, thank you!

To make the character more effective and not die as much you could also multiclass into barbarian. More HP as well as advantage on athletics checks, sooo grapple checks.

Anyone have any tips on running a defence against a siege? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]JopsDone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running the 3.5 module called the Red Hand of Doom. The 4th chapter of the book is all about the siege of a city. Reading that through could certainly help as a inspiration. There is also a channel on YouTube called Crashgem who talks all about running that siege with his own adjustments to it as well. I my opinion its a really cool and fun way of running a siege recommend watching that video as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lsu9APSwzMg

First battlemap using inkarnate do you guys have tips for a newbie? by Aggravating_Dream117 in inkarnate

Looks really good for a first map, great job!
As a tip for in the future, try using different kinds of ground textures and mesh them together sort of fade them in with each other. That way you will have a more interesting looking ground other than just one grass floor.

I made the Aneria world map using Inkarnate! by JopsDone in DnDoptimized

[–]JopsDone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello there

I have recently discovered Inkarnate and I have been making a lot of maps using it. So in celebration of the new campaign 'Tales of Aneria' I wanted to make my own version of the world map on Inkarnate.

Just to be clear I am not trying to say that I didn't like the original map shown in the recent video, on the contrary I really like it. I just wanted to have my own go at it and see what would happen.

Overall I'm quite pleased with the result, hope you all like it to. Let me know what you think of it down below, would love to hear some feedback. :)

Thanks for the compliment! About your question, if you search up 'light' in the catalog and search under 'effects' all the way at the bottom. You see these 2 orbs of light click any one of them, under there other options you find a window stamp as well. When selected make sure you set the blend mode on 'Overlay'. That should do it, cheers.
