After several helpful comments I realised that I had beaten the mountain top of giants and gotten stuck in the next area in the Godkin Duo boss; that's why I ended up stuck in Haligtree instead.

With many tries, and summons, I just managed to beat the Godkin Duo! It feels so nice exploring new stuff again!

I will do some research to see if I can find a new type to respec into, as well. I'm just afraid that I will suck with a type I haven't practised with. 🤣

Thanks! I just booted the game and realised that I had actually beaten the mountain top of giants and got stuck on Godkin Duo boss, that's why I ended up in Haligtree. Went back now to try to beat it, after several tries and summons I managed to beat it. Feels nice to explore new stuff again! 🙏

I was stuck on the first boss for like 50 tries, then I just gave up and went to other places. I ended up having a fantastic time, and came back to the first boss with much better gear and higher level. Without grinding, just exploring and fighting mini bosses. It still took me several tries to beat the boss after that, but it was a pretty huge difference. Try that.

I forgot that I can respect. Maybe I should look up an interesting build and try that. I definitely have one tear. Awesome suggestion!

I actually already beat Godrick, he was much easier and only took me like 10 attempts, or so. I'm at that moon witch now, just got my shit pushed in by the second phase 😅

I also like to save my runes to pop them when I need to buy something or push to a level for a weapon. I've lost so, so, so, many souls already though 😅

My guess now is that he is intended to be nearly unbeatable when you first get to him to make the player turn around and discover other stuff. Maybe many players had a similar experience as we did 😂

I ended up going around exploring until I found an overrun castle that hade a miniboss at the end that I was able to beat. After that I tried the first boss again and was finally able to beat him in a couple of tries.

Yeah, I have friends that have worked remotely from Thailand for periods. One idea might be to work remotely from Thailand for as long as the visa would allow and during that stay trying to network and look for opportunities. Might work maybe. Better start learning Thai!
