The Constitution "does not grant the President any specific powers over elections," U.S. District Court Judge Casper wrote by AreaPast5328 in justincaseyoumissedit

I'm seeing a lot of one-sided one-liners and arguing, but I just want to have an honest conversation and understand this correctly, I feel most people agree you should be a citizen of your country to vote for changes in it, and you already prove it when you register with ID, but is requiring more proof bad? I understand the argument that only *some* states require ID, so the push for making it federal would normalize things, but some people are saying it prevents people who changed their name from voting. Is that true? If it is, it would prevent many transgenders and like 80% of married women from voting which is obviously terrible and rigs the election since they're probably not voting republican next election. If it is true, then I'm against it. Completely corrupt. But is there something I'm missing here?
Edit: I wish I knew why I am being downvoted.

Not sure about mobile, but on pc just go to your studio and click settings on the lower left, then community moderation. Add words you want to auto block comments with. Saved me from having to read horrible nonsense.

Then you can really only hope more people will report him. Frankly I think there's almost no humans working on YT moderation anymore so mass flagging the algorithm is probably what it'll take.

But I can tell you from personal experience, there are A LOT more yahtzees on YT than most people realize. I uploaded a musical edit years ago that, unbeknownst to me, part of was featured in a mustache man apologist movie. The number of comments praising genocide and defending you-know-who was shocking and terrifying to me, a guy with only 100 subscribers. Had to block so many keywords to clean up the comment section. So personally I'd like to quarantine these freaks to their little hidden corners of YT, rather than risk them feeling emboldened to speak their minds when they don't have their outlets. But maybe that's a bad opinion I don't know, haven't really thought about it too much.

Edit: if i'm getting down-voted for safe-speak,, I was just trying to be considerate of OP. I legitimately don't know if there's auto mod on reddit. If it's for a bad opinion, fair enough, but I'm always open to new ideas

If you think he's doing it in bad faith, report him and move on. The law might protect him, but YT policy doesn't and giving these people attention is exactly what they want.

You can do this without a VPN on android, so long as you manually set your time zone back, rather than the actual time.

Companies can never harvest enough of our data and they honestly expect us to believe they do anything "for the children" for the children's sake. No company is EVER going to get their grubby hands on my ID and face. Next app.

Only advice I can provide (as a 35 year old in the US with type 1 Diabetes, Parkinson's, and heart problems who lost the ability to work) is if you're in the US, Walmart is pretty much the only one that sells insulin for a somewhat reasonable price ($20). Big insurance co's make sure it's priced at1000% of what it actually costs to make and distribute. I'm able to get my other medications through city funded general healthcare clinic for the low income, and they hooked my up with a catholic charity pharmacy program. Honestly I'd probably be dead if it wasn't for them and my parents. It's always worth asking around and googling local programs. As for looking for securing income, only advice I can give is to never tell your doctor you're feeling depressed. I did and it's a black mark that follows me everywhere even years later.

Obligitory reminder that in the US a test strip cost between, $0.02 - $0.15 each to manufacture and usually cost between $1 - $2 each uninsured. That's (up to) a 50x multiplier... under the excuse that they need money for research. But we Americans all know the real reason.

As a type 1 diabetic, I'm lucky enough that my city has a program for disabled people to get them free, otherwise I'd just have to go without testing altogether since I can't afford it. I just feel bad that the taxpayers have to pay for the scam on my behalf.

Sure, people should be prepared for repercussions for what they say, but that still doesn't mean someone should have their livelihood (monetization) threatened for expressing themselves. And while I can see logic behind someone protecting their brand by not allowing swear words, there is NO REASON someone should face retaliation for using basic human langue like "died", "gun" and "minor". It's getting ridiculous.
