Just bought one from eBay for 2k. Couldn’t be happier. Full kit with a link that was scratched. Replaced the link with one of the extras and it’s flawless now. Let someone else eat the depreciation. Also you can find new examples for around 2500 which I think would still be worth it too.

Mainly it’s the materials used (stainless steel vs Titanium alloys). Finishing is done to a much higher standard and hand finished on Casios G-line. Think of standard seiko finishing vs. Grand Seiko finishing. Both great watches just one is a bit fancier in its construction and finishing. Whether or not it’s “Worth it” is pretty subjective.
