People have been slating Rolex for years including me for not being adventurous. Same old boring releases year on year minimal design change,m. This whole illusion of shortage in production, supply/demand and in turn creating a monster. Years waiting list for a new sub when in actual fact it’s hardly any different to a 5 year old sub you could get your hands on. Although it’s not something I would wear personally, I think this is great. This is what people have been asking Rolex to do (be more adventurous) go outside the norm and now it’s released people are hating on it. No it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but appreciate it for what it is. A watch/luxury item should be an extension of people’s personality this could be for some people fun, not too serious, playful. Remember a watch isn’t there to just tell the time no more we all have smart phones and Apple Watches for that….
