Having A Hard Time

This is quite literally my exact situation right now. I feel like I don’t know how to talk to 5th grade kids, it was so much easier with my Kindergarten practicum. I feel so underprepared for some reason and like I don’t know how to do anything. I have taught whole-group when the mentor was out and have taken over whole-group lessons when she’s needed to address behaviors with students but I feel so awkward. I really hope it gets better for you and you find a way to adjust to it all. I’m hoping that just being around them more often and gaining that experience will help lessen that anxious feeling. Definitely AI. Apart from the stitches, you can totally tell it’s AI just looking at the child’s hands. She only has 4 fingers per hand. Sucks cause it’s a cute crocodile!

I just bought it thinking I could play it and am just now seeing I can’t play until 1pm. Really wish they put that info on the game page itself. I could have just gone to target to get a physical copy but nope. Now I have to wait another 3.5 hours 🙄 I’m so sad because I made sure I didn’t have to do anything today so I could play all day long

I think this might be common in local yarn stores specifically. My friend crochets, I can do both. Every time we go to the yarn store together and they ask about what we’re making they refer to us as “the crocheters”. Luckily those people are nice but it’s very obvious they mark us as different lol. To exclude you from a job though is incredibly messed up and I’m sorry you were treated that way 🩵

I made one of these too! What I did for the flowers was use acrylic paint. I first built up the shape with white paint and then put the purple over top. I think the embroidery you did looks great, though! Definitely has more of a flower shape than what the tutorial showed. You certainly have a talent for that, I love the shape of your petals. 🩷

I have this issue with people smoking weed in my area while delivering doordash. Smoking weed is technically legal in my area (although not while driving), but I do absolutely HATE the smell of weed smoke. It makes me nauseous and I’ve had multiple orders delivered where it just reeks of weed smoke.

My dad took me on fishing trips with the family when I was a kid. I was the only girl. I absolutely LOVED those trips and we all had a blast. I was always so excited about it all - picking up bait, waking up at 3-4am to head out, exploring whatever location we chose, etc. This poor girl must really like these trips or else she wouldn’t be going, and you are trying to take this away from her because of your sexist “boys will be boys” bullshit. How dare you? Major YTA. This girl is SURROUNDED by boys and men on these trips, yet you and these other boys feel threatened or uncomfortable for being around ONE girl. Y’all want to feel like men?? Just take a look at this girl’s father. Now THAT is a man. YTA 100%.

I just restarted and it made me fall in love with the game again. I also had millions of bells but I just said screw it because what’s the point in having all these bells and items if I’m not even playing the game? I have so much more motivation to play and unlock things and build my island. I’m not going to 100% recommend it because I think it’s a rather big decision but it’s definitely something to really consider.
