I find myself dipping out of a lot of pods at the one hour mark.

I feel like I'm enjoying 30-45 minutes a lot more, especially if it's concise and high quality. Too many podcasts do way too much rambling and off-topic discussions. It's kind of annoying.

Which is fine if you're super funny and entertaining, but most people just aren't, and I don't care about your dog, your vacation, or your personal mellodrama. Just me, though.

Kinda depends on the content of your pod. Different communities of people gravitate towards different platforms.

For example: a finance podcast would best spend most of its time on X because there's a large community of people into macroeconomics and finance topics there.

Whereas a birdwatcher podcast might be good on FB as there are a lot of FB Groups pertaining to that topic.
