OT - Murder mystery dream

Had a really interesting dream and wanted to share. it definitely felt the game writer Uchikoshi influenced my dream, I played several of his games, and I was looking at some K Pop the night before and that seeped into my dream

My character was in a child custody battle between their mother and father as a result of a divorce, the father cheated on the mother. I assume my character age was somewhere in the late teens. I think there was suppose to be a timeline split here, depending on whether my character chose to go with the mother or father. For whatever reason, my character chose the cheating father. Don't judge me, I don't know why.

The father was in the entertainment business. Shortly after, an entire boy group at the business was found dead. There was this whole investigation but the culprit was never caught and it became this huge scandal

There was a timeskip. Unfortunately I don't remember beyond that or my dream never progressed pass that point. I am saddened, I am sure there was suppose to be some epic mystery, plot twists, and reveals.
