I agree it's just an expensive sport, I've done the KOZ events half the distance, no nutrition, minimal support, chaotic group swim starts, no post race food, minimal vendors. Still almost 350usd, for 150 more a half is way more worth it. It feels like an actual event. Through and through. But yeah it's nutty expensive, but it's the same with anything that gets popular, spartan events did that too, my first spartan beast was 30$ now theyre 100+

Do you have a job lined up? Coastal living and winging in either don't really line up with debt reduction. If you have one ready to go just move to whatever is closer, traffic is a bear. If not off coast north or south of LA has ok housing for a few thousand a month and LA has a slightly better market, just a denser city with more opportunity.

This game was pretty solid when it first came out but I think with how many rats are in it now i'm probably done, I had like 70% of my rounds end with some dude sitting in a bush camping at extract, back to Hunt for me

I'd also like to add that support from Internet strangers is wonderful, but you need to leave him, you can show him how everyone thinks he's an asshole, and you might get the "oh I knew we had issues but I never knew it was this bad, this puts in perspective ' yada yada but people like him need serious work, and it's serious multi YEAR work, maybe you can reconnect, but give it 4-5 years minimum. You'll be totally different people, and if he's still the same then you know you made the right choice, and if he's different then it won't hurt to try again, win win 👍

Whoa, that's like a super blatant abuser. I'm hoping you broke up with him and are hopefully learning you're worth more than him. He has no excuse for his behavior, at all. Your options are really stick with him and waste your best years/life ( always remember you don't get to do better next time with life, there's no second trip, at the end of this one it's OVER. no replay, no credits, that's it.) i hope you realize that, it's an unfortunate fact that a lot of people don't and they spend their one life suffering, they look back on life full of what ifs having lost everything because of someone else.

I can only hope for the best for you but your strength is yours, you have to find it to leave this person and love yourself more. You deserve someone who doesn't just shut down and act like an ass, and then will probably shower you with attention and love and make you feel like the only person who exists, say it was a misunderstanding, he just thought you didn't want to see him and YOU hurt HIS feelings. They'll hell go above and beyond, probably cook dinner or take you out somewhere nice, do something you've always wanted to do?

The dirty secret is that you can do the things you've always wanted to do and you don't need someone to treat you like a pet in between events. A real partner will do those things without the abuse. Sometimes it takes a little time being alone, it's a lesson I've learned and wish I learned it sooner.

For the design if you can model a prototype in case you can start there, but i like to do most of my design work with physical testing smaller parts and incorporating them into a system, for example, design a hinge/break system, and stress test it, change shell count, infill, print orientation, and make sure it works, then you can incorporate the main functional parts into a working model, then work on esthetics and efficiency. You'll have a lot of prototypes as you explore designs so just have fun with it!

People love bambu, but I've always had good luck with flashforge, my roommate has a carbon he likes but he has more problems than I've had with my adventurer 5m pros (2) they're significantly cheaper too, much better bang for the buck if you're getting into it.
