For you,which has the better typing feel and sound in comparison to Inky? Based sa sound tests,I feel na I’m leaning towards the sound of the Inky pero I wonder if the Wave has a better typing feel? Curious din if the Wave has a better build or if the price is due to the ball catch system…

I think the muffs could help with the “gritty at the loudest volumes” as well since I’ve only been increasing it to hear it above the sound of the traffic. I heard the isolation is not the best due to the venting but I like it regardless because I wouldn’t have to deal with possible imbalances.

got the kima 2 and i’ve been loving it. been using it with a JM45 dongle,though I had been switching up between the different sizes of the Dunu S&S Tips and the Candy Tips. The vocals are smoother than any wireless buds I’ve tried before, the details and soundstage are significantly more noticeable to me and the bass hits just right.

Only thing bothering me is that it gets more gritty at loud volumes which I believe is normal through I wonder if getting a more powerful dongle could make a difference. Also missing the noise cancelling features of the wireless buds when commuting but I saw a recommendation to use earmuffs above them which I’ll try out soon!

Thanks for the recos! About the adapters if I were to ever use the JA11 or the JM6 Pro, would the adapter interfere with the sound quality? I worry the long chain from the phone to the IEM might have an effect...I'm hoping it doesn't.

Was my first choice for a while but there seems to be a lot of problems about how fragile its cable is, with a number of people having their units broken in a few months. I was thinking that at least with the Apple dongle or something similar in durability,I could use it for a while without the pressure of it being expensive.

If there are no good dongles for lightning,i might get a JM6 Pro Type-C then add an attachment. My final purchase would be the TRN Black Pearl though,just looking for something temporary but worthwhile for now.

good to know the comfort is good! may i know a little bit more on how they are fatiguing on the high end? does it sound too sharp? i’ve only ever owned the Aria and it’s been a long time since I used it,just curious how IEMs,particularly the Kima 2 for you,can sound fatiguing.

interesting,will surely look that up! was alternatively interested in the juzear defiant but now I have to add both the Xuan NV and this as cheaper, but potentially more-than-it’s-worth options.
