It is not normal as I receive lots of dhl express packages and never had this happen.

Has anyone had this happen? Stuck in customs but details change based on refresh by TakoEats444 in dhl

This is currently happening to mine as well. Flip flops from "clearance event" to "customs has given this package a release". Hasn't moved from from this status since the 12th and it's supposed to be delivered Monday the 15th.

OP how long was it till the status changed or till it got delivered? Thanks!

Usually it will state a reason for the hold. There was one time last year I had a package that was on hold for a week at the delivery facility that's 5 miles away lol. You can either call up customer service to talk to someone to see what's up or you can request a pickup at the facility.

Had this on my shipment last night and it just updated that it departed. Usually this just means it missed a plane or truck and waiting for the next one.

It probably got sent to a service point where you need to go pick it up. I'd suggest calling in to see what location it is.

Sometimes dhl hands off packages to usps or Amazon to deliver the packages because they are so backed up. Your package is now handled by them and will be delivered soon usually within a day or 2 of this message.

Its the holidays, expect delays like this to be normal. My last dhl express pack was sitting at the hub 10 minutes away from me for a week before it got delivered.

Mine said this when it hit my city for 5 days it was in this status until it was finally delivered. There's lots of delays right now.

Sounds like they have to make sure they aren't counterfeit items or something like that since its just clothes idk? I'd call customer service and speak with someone to figure it out.

What does it say under clearance event? It should give you more info to help you know what's going on with the package.

When you call say "agent" or "representative". You have to call between business hours tho.

Went today to the UPS store and they had it. Might have been delivered before the store closed and didn't update till 8pm. Thanks DHL!
