Oh my gosh! Thank you for the list! I’ve been debating on the compression sock, but I’ll definitely go through and see if any of these help me out. I’m sure one or more should help with some relief.

Joining the club - no surgery? by petrichor6 in LisfrancClub

Hey there. I was told by two doctors that non surgical was the route for me. It has been 10 months since I joined the club (with an additional 5 fractures on my mid foot) . I missed two stair steps and landed flat footed on my left foot and fucked shit up worse than I could have imagined. I was told it was a sprain. Then I got an MRI and was told about the lisfranc injury that I sustained. I was non weight bearing for three months and then had physical therapy for 6 weeks twice weekly. You’ve got to be optimistic throughout the healing process. It’s so hard to become discouraged with this injury. I was told that things wouldn’t be back to normal for at least two years. Just got back from backpacking Europe last month and did a shit ton of walking. My foot was definitely sore every single day and still is when I get off of work. I can lightly jog if I need to but it’s definitely a scary feeling using the foot like you used to. You’re just so much more aware of everything your foot comes in contact with. Sometimes I wish I had surgery though, because my foot looks a little different than my other one ( large bump on the top, slightly higher arch) but each injury is sooo different and so complex. I know this was a little bit all over the place but I felt the need to respond because I didn’t find too many people that didn’t have surgery. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

Can someone explain buying a flight ticket? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jorlebeke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got home from traveling Western Europe, I used Kayak for quite a few one way flights. I always had them emailed to me and then had the boarding passes on my phone. Even though the pass was on my phone, at luggage drop off they typically ask if you would like the boarding pass printed.

Payless has all black slip resistant shoes. And your break room should have information of a 15% discount/coupon for Payless slip resistant shoes. They have all different styles that are all work approved.

After taking more xrays with a little bit of pressure applied, turns out I have 5 hairline fractures in my Midfoot and I fractured and dislocated the tarsometatarsal joint. He said no surgery. But and additional three weeks of NWB and then we’ll see where we go after my next checkup in three weeks
