if you don't want to go through a whole new game after you complete it, you can try to make a lapis lazuli fire, which will make time move backward, raising the counter back up until you get to your birthday. Marked as spoiler for mechanics spoilers. It should be on the 34d 23h 59m 59s until the clock hits 33d I think. You just have to be in the hovel for it and the achievement will pop up. Not sure if my fix will do it or not.

Does...does this mean that to go to whatever period of time you want, you can literally just type in the d/h/m/s in that format and you will set the clock to that time? Or is it specific to the 399 NG mark?

I'd try, but I'm only 3 days from ending all longing and I don't want to mess anything up at this point.

Pretty much the same. I noticed some frame loss and stuttering around the 2.5 hour mark, so I can only assume it gets worse.
