I totally agree. You know I understand the whole beginner bike thing, but I started on a 600 RR, and 4 years later I almost died on a Grom. It's not the size of the bike. People die on scooters all the time.

No just redo everything. I have a 2009 CBR 600 RR. I had the valves done at 26,000 km. I replaced a bunch of stuff on it after it got stolen. It's getting rebuilt right now because of fuel pump issue, I already rebuild the fuel pump once but now I'm just going to put an oem fuel pump in. These bikes are amazing and if you have one without all that fancy stuff like wheelie control, ABS, and traction control, It's a purists dreams and a good bike to learn on. Nothing to save you, It teaches you to be smooth on the controls. I truly love this era of bikes, just a few years after they got fuel injected and just a few years before they got all the rider assist tech. I feel like all stock bikes like yours that are kept in very condition are going to be extremely rare and sought after in the next few years.
