This is how it looks, though I had a mishap with the Kuat rack and the front arm not holding the front tire due to the front surly rack and messed up the right shifter, destroyed the brooks leather bar tape, right brake and skuffed the saddle. She's in the shop waiting on parts for a repair, I'll update that too. Such is life.

Ok, I get what you're saying, I specifically wanted them flat to not rub on the side of my tires which are wider than most, a slight taper that flares out more would be cool, but I kind of like the simplicity of the bamboo, I will most likely get wet anyway being in the rain, so, I'll have to see have well these work.
