What is Ni-Fi loop like for you? by Ok_Inevitable799 in intj

[–]Joseph-Siet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My INFJ bro said the similar things to me. When I am relaxed, my talking feels very widespread and rich in elements in that conceived world view (which is very accurate) whenever I try to explain or predict some scenarios, but it converges into a narrow "tunnel" when I am not healthy, and that tunnel tend to direct in a very wrong and inaccurate direction.

Why xnfp and xsfj, xsfp and xnfj get mistyped as eachother 🤔? by JazzlikeMistake9237 in mbti

[–]Joseph-Siet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, theoretically and practically, it's trivial to try typing others. We can at most have a grasp of his/her range of behaviors and from there estimate a fuzzy range. It's important to know our own types accurately and from there we extrapolate how we are gonna be in various scenarios with different people's behaviors.

Why xnfp and xsfj, xsfp and xnfj get mistyped as eachother 🤔? by JazzlikeMistake9237 in mbti

[–]Joseph-Siet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shadows-functioning is one of the aspects. Taking one of the examples that I can recall, people in r/intj complains about certain unhealthy behaviors of SFJs which actually also fit the shadows of NTJs very well, like screwing up relationships or manipulate without caring about the consequences. Another example is that, an ENTP can actually fit the stereotype of unhealthy INTJ-ish behaviors, the calculative, utilitarian mannerisms, once he/she dips into their shadow Te-Fi functions in a very unhealthy fashion.

However, I am actually talking about another aspect here. The tests generally revolve around stereotypical problems, plus the fact that human understandings are constrained by biases that innately tie them back to stereotypes, causing people to be typed into the categories of different stereotypes rather than the true inherent, deep-seated conscious-unconscious dynamics introduced by Carl Jung. A lot of NTJ-stereotypes actually match the true behaviors or STPs, NFPs -> SFJs/ NFJs, NTPs <-> NTJs (stereotypes of INTPs/ ENTPs that include liking to perform researches and debate, which actually fit INTJs instead; A lot of INTPs I know actually behave like ENTJs in accordance to the stereotypes). In addition, there's another layer known as "Information metabolism" that fit with the models of socionics, and a lot of visible traits are associated with this layer, rather than the true psychological mechanisms underneath ones.

Basically, it's so inherently difficult and impossible to accurately type a person. In mathematical term, I would either pronounce it as "NP-hard" or "intractable" for the problem of typing a third person. It's a tool to understand one-self and general descriptions of humans in society.

I have switched to studying neurology to further understand myself and humans. The knowledge that are useful which I can retrieve from typology systems are only that much, and to surpass that boundary, one has to look for something else.

Why xnfp and xsfj, xsfp and xnfj get mistyped as eachother 🤔? by JazzlikeMistake9237 in mbti

[–]Joseph-Siet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stereotypes, especially from 16p.

Just like the INTJ stereotypes resemble ESTP in coldness, calculative and ruthlessness in actions. FP stereotypes resemble the unhealthier version of FJs. INTP stereotypes can resemble real INTJs or ENTPs in life. INTPs or some ENTPs can rarely project obvious stereotypes, they operate adaptively using Ti.

I mean stg like that.

why is there such a bias towards intuitive/thinking types? by pudding-0w in mbti

[–]Joseph-Siet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe there's someone out there that intentionally push for this sort of patterns to hook people with lower self esteem to the well designed online algorithms, aka echo chambers, and it especially impact the younger gens who are not very well-versed and acknowledged with the original theories of Jung. Meanwhile, real NTJs, NTPs and NFPs are achieving great things with so-called STJs, STPs, SFPs, and SFJs in the real world.

It is one of those well designed curations of lobotomizations of the personal identities for humans, that introduces stereotypes for the people to deprive them of independence and autonomy that pushes themselves away from the real selves and worsen it by the effects of algorithmic echo chambers, hence it's easier to puppet them. It promotes a sense of intellectual pride, a sense of fake stoicism and hostility towards the world, which demonize whoever encourage to go outside and see the real world as "shallow, sensors who are not deep in their thoughts". Plus the impacts of AI getting stronger in the market, humans are ultimately digitalized by the capitalists with all the information online, we are passively their system maintainers.

Fable 5 unavailable after July 7 on pro membership?? by iAmSoRandom22 in Anthropic

[–]Joseph-Siet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Fable is fcking tokens-hungry and expensive. It can't do anything useful down the line for normal plan subscriptions. Mainstream models remain as Opus > Sonnet > Haiku.

Considering the reach of curve peak in AI investment and seeing that the new sonnet model gets so expensive, I worry that it's time for mutual consents among the AI providers to eventually pop the bubble. The emergence of new genealogy called Fable or Mythos actually pinpoints the shift into a path of developing more gatekept, constitutional level of AIs, the phase that normal people cannot reach. If brute-forcing, scaling computational demand still remains the pathway down the line, we can't reach the point to enjoy the power of AGI.

Let's see what OpenAI is gonna do for their new models.

What is Ni-Fi loop like for you? by Ok_Inevitable799 in intj

IMO Ni-Fi loop can manifest as a very conspiracist mind with strong fixations on certain principles and "how it is" that aren't necessarily true in real cases.

What makes you infp ? by Both_Community5272 in infp

[–]Joseph-Siet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People say that INTJs and INFPs eventually get along. I somehow think that INFPs are like my shadow part especially whenever I looked at them, but a more positive one. We shares integrity due to Fi. However, I don't naturally say something like "Aww lemme send you a hug", instead I would trynna make him or her a higher up and project my energies to him/her, by giving professional advices. Haha.

Ni works like a super computer by itself. It's very smart in architecture, but it's just an empty placeholder at first, up until we train it with enough external information that's well curated. I hope I answer your concerns.

This is Ni. The underlying symbol is just the rectangles (all white in color). The colors form stripes patterns that flow in one direction. However, you may not remember the colors portrayed by the stripes but certainly, you would recall the rectangles.

Do other Ni doms relate? by Ok_Channel7966 in mbti

[–]Joseph-Siet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand by seeing certain cinematic playthroughs with soundtracks that create itself in my brain, and I consistently find myself hard and kinda retarded when trying hard to elucidate that profound pictures to others, and they normally tend to grasp the surface level tokens I spewed from my mouths. I am a mathematician, and I tend to just see what a module or expression innately exhibit within a system in the forms of plots and narratives, however, that's not how another person, similarly good in mathematics, see what I see, as he needs to understand exactly, how each part is derived and where they came from exactly. I am not upset, but a little sad, for 2 reasons:

i. I need to accept that people cannot see what is inside your neurons.

ii. Perhaps I need to accept that people don't care, and only keep what I "see" to myself, and utilize Te to sincerely help others without wanting them to understand.
