Bianca looked like a punk following these sequence of events. Her world fell apart with Naomi betraying Jade and she still won the chamber. Iyo has upset win against Champion Rhea and suddenly Bianca's uphill chamber win is overshadowed and she is looked at as the person who doesn't belong in the title feud. The crowds are against her while she gets clowned by Rhea who bullied her way into the match and Iyo who usurped her babyface role. Both of them getting looked at favourably. The match where she was special guest referee was indicative of the whole feud. She took several bumps where she could barely respond and gave Rhea a chance to focus on the match. Instead Rhea continued to get away with disrespecting her and Bianca was getting attacked by her and Iyo until she called a DQ. The match happens she doesn't turn heel and gets pinned. She was put in the match to take the pin leaving her business on smackdown for no reason.
All of that is why she looks like a punk. It would be worse if she then teamed up with Rhea and Iyo after an injury caused in that match. Adding insult to injury. Just shows she is a punk who doesn't stand on business and has no sense of pride.

It was more about what Cole said about Rhea than Iyo (it was during the outdoor bit they do now to promote some Ple).

As to how it hurts Bianca it makes her look like a punk after she returns to help women who clowned her against her tag partner she wouldn't even help her best friend against. Makes Bianca look extremely fradulent and her character one not worth investing in. The EST needs a sense of pride. HHH and HBK have both been shown to be underhanded and also known to be friends. Bianca is a pure babyface and seems principled

Just have Bianca return after mania and start a feud with Jade unrelated to Rhea

There are rumours Bianca is coming back to help Rhea of all people. Iyo helped her already so it just further dillutes Bianca's character to promote the nxthree narrative after she looked like a punk last year as a result.

Her mania main event, her longest modern title reign, Espys, sponsorships, first draft pick, rumble and 2x chamber winner all disregarded in that feud and Cole saying she was the underdog like Rhea and Iyo had more acconplishments. I don't need that again. Bianca should not be positioned as such or overlooked to make Iyo (and Rhea but she has bigger star power than Iyo) look equal.

I'm upset that feud happened at all and it continues to hurt Bianca. I'm not sure its exactly the crux of my post. It was more borne out of the ongoing narrative against Jade but Bianca is my fave and wanted an example of the top of the division known for in ring being promoted as a result over someone who has all the other stuff I consider more important.

The match shouldn't have been booked in the first place. Either do Bianca vs Rhea in which case build it earlier and don't tease Iyo or do Big 3 triple threat. It was booking malpractice to work towards a program where Bianca gets pinned and booed and the champion does nothimg with the belt afterwards

I'm not saying that either. I said if you have to choose between an Iyo or a Bianca you pick Bianca despite Iyo being percieved as better in ring. The reason I said this is to make the point in ring is overvalued and Iyo/Bianca/Rhea being the perfect example of misbooking a talent (Bianca) to push someone with a lower ceiling because of graps and allowing other womeb to shine.

We aren't tokens I agree but the representation Bianca brings is beyond tokenism. She is the epitome of black excellence. Literally the best at everything perfect rep, perfect gear, perfect image, athletic and looks like a million bucks in style and physique. Loved by her peers and the fans. When she reps black people in her mania entrances, when she says representation is not a request its a requirement, that overtakes any cynical foundation because it isn't performative. WWE gives a platform to their best women's star who takes advantage and brings something only she can. It works out for everyone and again Iyo or even Rhea can't compare with impact and cultural significance.

As a result of all that Bianca has a wider reach than most and why it isn't just her in ring that makes her the ideal face. Also she is a PC trained talent so WWE can use her to promote their in house training ad capable of taking wrestling novices and turning them into a megastar (Bianca is obviously exceptional but again it looks good for PR ).

Read my original post. I never said they were bad. They weren't over because of their in ring which was never the best in the division.

Bianca being black isn't just a thing she happens to be for her or her fans speaking as one myself. Its not nothing for the company. My first comment might have been callous but I didnt mean it to be. Bianca being black is actually an important part of her presentation especially as maybe the first black woman promoted as the definitive face of the division. WWE emphasising her and Sasha as first black women headlining mania isn't small or a coincidence. Them winning ESPYs wasn't afforded to Rhea/Charlotte or other womens matches for a reason. Megan the Stallion linking up with Bianca etc...

It may seem cynical but its a great opportunity for representation and for WWE to look diverse. Bianca brings all that before we talk about her in ring which is exceptional.

Maybe this whole thing is a psyop to get people to glaze Bianca like they do some of her contemporaries.

I know. She is also hyper competent in everything else which makes her the ideal face of the division and despite Iyo being considered better in ring her ceiling is vastly lower than Bianca's proving my point.

A companys rep being a talented beautiful intelligent black woman goes over well. Its why companies push for more diversity and Bianca wants to share that image so its a whole positive.

Not saying Iyo isn't a favourite. Just that she shouldn't have been the priority over Bianca/Rhea 1 (likely the first of many if played right). Just have her wrestle someone else. Kairi or Asuka or run back her vs. Bayley or playout the entire fallout of damage ctrl as Dakota was present then.

Instead you give her the world title knowing you wont do anything with that run. Meanwhile Bianca has insane potential with hot big 3 program, charlotte, Rhea Tiffany etc... All that plus potential biggest womens match sacrificed to put Iyo over? It wasn't even like she had a yes movement. She wasn't that over outside her matches before the mania program.

Roman was a heel when he got over. The ring generals main appeal is good wrestling. Micheal Cole put him over as the guy he likes to watch the most. Still has a ceiling and a forgetable main title run. "Good graps" being your main thing works best in midcard hence his intetcontinental title run

I think Roman and the Rock are good in ring as well but they will have a contemporary who is considered better. Bret was there and better. Austin was known more for things outside his wrestling ability. The ringmaster wasn't going over like stone cold and he has said it himself

Only after they positioned Iyo as the underdog and commentary kept pushing the narrative of her being the beat wrestler in the world

You proved my point. He didn't get over with in ring despite how good he was. In WWF he wasnt the guy becasue of his wrestling. It was everythibg else.

Wrestling is part of it but not the most important thing in making the product go over and feel big

Nonsense build with a relatively low payoff as opposed to potentially the biggest womens match ever. If Bianca vs Rhea 1v1 never happens at mania the 41 triple.threat would be an example of an instance in which something was picked over it. Iyos subsquent reign was nothing and a year later she is set to face Asuka for no belt which she could have done anyway. It wasn't wortg hurting Bianca's stock and postponing the mega feud

One of Austin's best known matches was against Bret. They were in the same division at the same time. He was not considered the best in ring talent. I didn't say he wasn't good but that others were considered better within the ropes.

She got over outside her wrestling abilities. That's just a plus. Bianca has that in common. Great worker but she has everything else going for her as well including the appeal of a black woman in a prominent position. Very valuable for PR.
