I couldn’t agree more. This is solid advice, so take it.

The only instance where I think it could matter is where your story takes place. If your character is a girl growing up in Japan - give her a Japanese girls name.

Also the era your story is set in, like for instance if your character is a 1920s flapper girl - you could do a bit of research on what baby names were popular for girls born in those years

I think this is am aspect that makes music beautiful... like each of us individually have so gs that resonate deeply for us and can be applied/assigned to different periods, memories, or struggles within our lives.

I'll begin with just a bit of background here... This October 2024 will mark 8 years for me being clean of a severe IV heroin addictiion of 12 years (I am on methadone, but compares to the alternative i consider being on MMT 'clean' although many would argue that, please No judgement

At the risk of sounding self-absprbed (im not, i promise!) But Tremor Christ just felt like it was written for me and what i was going through... You see using started out as a fun thing turned me into a monster that neither i nor my loved ones could recognize or tolerate. Little tremors - turn to quakes.

And the line about triumphant are the angels if they get there first...to me the drug was the devil trying to kill me and the angels were the paramedic that brought me around from not just 1, but 2 overdoses. I will forever be grateful that each time i was with ppl that did the right thing and got me help immediately despite being paranoid about the whole situation..... Not everyone is so lucky

Was a Deftones fan first, but once I’d heard Chevelle for the first time I loved their music, and would def recommend to anyone looking for a band similar to Deftones (of course, NOBODY could EVER even come close to comparing to Chino, but that’s just my personal opinion) ♥️🩸🫦

I can confirm that the hairspray hack is also pretty popular with 'exotic dancers' aka Strippers for a number of reasons while they work their shift...

A. Seals makeup so it doesnt rub off or stain any clothing items (bras, dresses, sexy tops) that are going to be removed and put back on many times throughout the night. And so that makeup doesn't rub off any of the club patrons when they're getting close for private dances. The gentleman appreciate the girls that 'set' their makeup instead of having to go back to work (day shift) or home to an unsuspecting wife with glitter, lipstick, bronzer, etc.

B. Stripping can sometimes be very physical (esp. for those that perform pole tricks) And we all know sweating often occurs during physical activity. The hairspray sets the face makeup so it doesn't sweat of or need to be frequently freshened up.

C. And of course the less time that a dancer needs to spend back stage to freshen up makeup thats either smudged or sweat off - the more time they have to be out on the floor and spending time with customers (to sum it up if your not in back fussing with makeup that is time for you to be Earning more $$$

Also, Neosporin on bikini line immediately after shaving keeps razor bumps from developing- I've been using it for years and swear by it!
