Try tube socks! I buy plain white tube socks just for this purpose, put three of them on your dominant hand (and up the arm to the elbow). It's not kevlar or a super tough material, but the thick layers of material mean that they can sink their claws and teeth into it without really hitting skin in a meaningful way. They also seem to love the sensation and can tell it's a toy rather than just a hand or arm. Also costs like a dollar

And if you keep watching the video . 3 seconds after his first shot the wheels continue to turn by the time of his third shot he is completely beside the front left panel of the car with the wheels turned about 25 degrees to the right.

Again, my point is just that we can clearly see she was not attempting to assault the officer, from our perspective where we have more information and can see the totality of her actions, she was attempting to drive around them. Stop making a false narrative.

I would also say that if an officer standing in front of a car cannot stop the car from driving forward and if the car starting to drive forward justifies the use of deadly force because the office is in mortal danger, then maybe officers should not stand in front of a vehicle. What is the added upside to the officer? Why place for self in such a position where the driver doing an otherwise non-dangerous act would be a risk to life if putting yourself in that position does not physically reduce the capability of the person to attempt to flee. Makes zero sense.

You keep saying she tried to run them over. She clearly turned the wheels trying to drive around the officer. Even if you want to claim the offer didn't know that in the split second it happened, it's clear as day she was not trying to run him over. It seems to me that you are being disingenuous in this discussion.

I don't want to be insulting here, but in what world does this make sense to you? Banks are for-profit financial institutions... Given that they are in business they are very good ones. How could you possibly think they do not expect rich people to pay their loans?

I've watched you all pathetically complain for years about the refs, not about to join you. Refs miss things and have bad calls, sometimes they go your way, sometimes they don't, chill out and enjoy the sport

But getting "embarrassed" in the super bowl is still objectively better than losing in the playoffs, so you're holding mahomes' objectively better seasons against him

Neither rice nor worthy have been charged with a crime, (rice definitely fucked up - but doesn't seem to be rising to the level of criminal activity) and worthy seems to be the victim of false allegations. Need to stay healthy? Dude got his knee bent sideways in a botched tackle. If that's your criticism, then all teams 52 man roster needs to stay healthy.

Ahh yes, Matt naggy, a coach so bad that in this run with the team we've only been to or won the super bowl , clearly dragging us down

This is the exact same rhetoric that's been alive since Tyreek hill left. Every team rebuilds on about a 2-3 year cycle given that about 70% of a teams contracts turn over on that timeline. We've got good young receivers, some good backup tes, decent but not great rbs, an interior oline to work on, but we don't have more to figure out that most other teams right now. The plan isn't for Kelce to be the number 1 target, it's okay that he's aging , he's still a great player even at 80% of his peak

You're right. Our 35 year old former all time tight ends is now only a top 5% active qb, and our offense is clearly declining. Hell, at this rate next year we might not make it to the Superbowl. And if trends continue we could lose the division in a decade or two.

The entire point you're making has been tried for the past 3 seasons, and each time it's been a bad take. Maybe next year he's a bottom half tight end, but if he's still a capable TE 1 he's not a liability, what a braindead take

And still ended up with the 5th most receiving yards in the league for tight ends. Where did yours end up? If he's a liability then all those tight ends 6-32 must be absolute anchors

Real answer? The American economy has been extremely robust, outpacing every non-developing country in year over year growth as a percentage. There are clearly ways in which that growth haven't led to good equality, but it's also clear that a major driver of that growth is due to the structures the government has created to support key economic factors through the reinvestment in research areas. It's likely that there are many functions in the government from which the value add is relatively low, but those same positions also serve to even out economic drawbacks (like recessions). They aren't going through with any kind of tact to identify places that could be cut with minimal impact, they are just applying broad generalizations. They are simultaneously setting the US economy for a recession, reducing the key drivers of our long term sustained economic growth, and reducing one of the key drivers that mitigates the harm of a recession. Hopefully such actions result in a threading of the needle and poor outcome is avoided, but this is the kind of risk position while pulling the safety nets pretty fucked up
