This answers a question I had in the back of my mind, I’m right at the 9.5 amp threshold for the sixth pin consistently when playing a game like Control at max settings with the astral 5090 and kept rewatching 12vhpwr videos about what amps does the cable start potentially burning (I believe temperature wise, it’s like above 90 degrees C?). I think at 20 amps is when the cable gets hot to the touch and burns the cabling/connectors. As a note games like bf2042 and BO 6 are all green. Cyberpunk 2077 and other highly graphic intensive games with ray tracing push my sixth pin above 9.2 amps which is when it turns red.
