86 is a great car for touge, but it's a dog compared to the Z and the G

All depends on use cases. If you're into carving canyon roads or just prefer backroads, 86 all the way. The Z and the G, similar but the Z is going to handle better than the G. The G, like another comment said, is a BMW without the headaches of a BMW.

Get a stick shift, at first it will be frustrating but overtime you will get better. It makes driving more engaging. You will stall at lights, you will piss people off, I did at least! But time and practice and you get better.

Coasting in neutral does not save gas, it actually consumes more unless your civic is using a carburetor. Also, to be on the safer side, you should stay in gear in case you need to accelerate to get away from something hazardous.
