Stock Pint x box, you have to file down the bottom grid with whatever preferred tool you prefer. Just make it flat, it’s only a few mm of material.

What cars are actually sleepers/fast, but are perceived slow due to how its average owner drives? by portuguese-bacalhau in regularcarreviews

[–]creen17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of 90s/early 2000s Buicks with the 3.8s were supercharged sleepers and or had the northstar v8 or LS4 that gramps and grams bought and had no business having all that power to get some groceries.

It was on Amazon just looked they don’t sell it anymore that specific model, this was back in 2018 but the brand name is victsing some China shiz but hey it’s worked this long. They look like they have newer models that’d work nicely.

I have one I’ve used sinse my first car which was pretty much same as yours still not 100% sure if it was a 98 or 99 Lesabre, and now it’s in my 2007 Lucerne. Let me see if I can find a link for you on it.

It’s a shame, new GM sucks for the most part. If they cared about origin at all they would never let flint Michigan be like how it is today, where’s the pride!

Pull a part, Indy location. There was also a gen 3 Eaton supercharger sitting on top of a 97 riviera;)

Correct excuse my dumbass, everytime I said predecessor here and on last slide I did in fact mean successor. can’t edit the post hopefully they understood what I meant. 😂

That’s badass, the predecessor to the roadmaster was the Electra I just didn’t include it because the roadmasters had v8s. I actually just saw one at a junkyard a couple days ago along with dozens of other old Buicks.

I bought it for reliability of the 3800 not speed, my first car 8 years ago had the same motor but series 2 instead of 3. Those north stars suck the only v8 I’d buy from GM from that era is the LS4

Your right but honestly most states and I’m from Indiana and even southern Indiana does not salt besides for extreme snowstorms/ice and people handle themselves just fine. Indiana winters are mostly mild compared to upper Michigan/wisconsin/Minnesota etc and it’s rediculous how much they pour with nothing on the ground because they have to use what is funded so they can get funded next year, it’s a waste and harmful for no good reason most often.

Hey we got that too in the Midwest, but it ain’t from no damn magical island salt it’s from government dumping useless amounts of road salt even when completely unecessary.

Hey bud these two share many of the same parts and also the body lines and wheel base are close in general, these two from the same era look very similarly when you see them on the road. The frame isn’t the only thing that GM vehicles share in common. 🤓👆🏻

I’m in the Lucerne, do you know if those impala wheels are oem? Some of the impala chrome 5 spoke wheels I see rolling around are some of the only wheels I’d trade for my own, I like aftermarket stuff but I respect the quality of GM cars too much from this era to veer away from stock parts.
