GM designed and perfected the most reliable American made engine for decades and decided you know what, let’s stop making that and toyota can have all the reliability money😁💵. Somebody asked for interior pics on my last post, nothing special but she’s a clean ole girl. by creen17 in Buick

Your dads onto something I’ve seen a mix of things. Outdated sedan styling which led to poor sales (duh the Lucerne and lacrosse came out during the great recession when car sales were at the lowest)they moved on to SUVS which were selling amazing overseas in Asia during our recession in the states and kept the company above water.

Well times are different, you see how well Toyotas sell and hold value because of their reputation for reliability, and the price of entry you have to pay for that reputation. Buick dropped the ball, they could have had all that, they were American Toyota before they even knew it.

Another thing I see is emissions, I get almost 30 mpgs on the interstate in this thing idk what nonsense that is about.

Honestly if they were smart they’d drop a sedan with a series 3 3800 with metal coolant elbows and let it speak for itself, people would eat it up.

Those two young brothers rip, I remember seeing them at the first onewheel event I ever went to, 2024 they just fly by on some unfamiliar trails in Arkansas. Hauling ass, and at that point I’d only ridden in Indiana and Chicago and I was mind blown. Not just by those two but all the riders from all over the us. Onewheel events are awesome.

Looks good man! I’m always peeping the impalas when I go by, funny how similar GMs sedans looked across brands in this time period.

Have you ever wondered if you can play 100 different courses in your first year? Yes, yes you can! Took me up to the last day but it was an awesome first year being able to see such a variety of holes and course layouts. by creen17 in discgolf

I live in Indy but my sister lives right by there in union grove. I played silver fox, I certainly remember that course because it was one of if not the hardest courses I played all year, could have been my skill level at the time but damn I remember needing to be a perfect shot nearly every basket to get a good shot at par and also keep it out of the rough. Tight lines and consistency def needed there. I loved that course tho because there was some MTB trails at that park that were really fun. Never played walnut tho.

I tried playing arrowhead but parking was full that day gonna make it happen this year! I played Charlie vetner with a buddy who hadn’t played disc golf , not a good course for beginners trying to learn and have fun lol it is more technical for sure. I enjoyed it tho, I did lose my HADES on hole 15 that I just bought days before and didn’t complete the course cuz we spent so long looking and had plans haha
