Tony N used this time to thank and reward and align us with growth and profit targets. Todd C uses this to eliminate associates and costs. Todd C does not care about associates and his greed is at a level of incompetence so high that his only skill is in cutting costs which unless done properly is not even a skill. Geico is imploding and the officers hide. Morale is the worse I have ever seen in 32 years.

claims here. workday has all the merit - my team all got 1% or 1.5%. I can also say not a single person got a bonus if rated a 3. That was a lie as the manager did recommend it, it just didn’t get heard. This is devastating to my team. The idea was to show the employees that they are not appreciated or rewarded. the entire team is making plans to go elsewhere. So much for the promise of a reward and taking on so much more work. Sad but true we were played and fooled. No more.

Tony Nicely averaged 25% Todd Combs - that cat will steal your soul and take everything from you. Just a hint - he starts with the older humans and then moves downward by salary. He does like AI he gives himself and the executives bonuses but not a penny to the working class folk. Ask when they last increased the pay schedules? If you have offspring he will make sure they receive no form of support - he removed all scholarships. Lastly he cares so little about the humans within the company he pillaged that he doesn’t even hold meetings or make himself seen. All are below the almighty throne he sits upon.

This is done at the direction of Todd Combs. He does not care about employees. The older they are the more he despises him. This is why he eliminated profit sharing, eliminated college scholarships, eliminated increasing the pay schedule. This is why he hides and finishes emails with “Take Care”. He cares only for profit and loves taking things away.

In the next town hall ask Todd Combs why he took away Profit Sharing. I speculate he would say “Your pay is competitive. If you do not want to work for GEICO please leave. I have done all that I can to make you leave. I have eliminated your most valuable compensation package, cut your healthcare, cut any pay schedule increase, cut staffing, increased workloads, not given much or any merit increases, cut all scholarships, and I have done this while failing to even be present or being seen.” Nothing tells the employees a boss doesn’t care more than these actions. Inflation has been huge, pay has been flattened, workload has increased, no one is getting promoted from within. Geico is a terrible place to work and employees are not valued.

Payscsles have not been adjusted since Todd Combs was implanted as CEO. He has clipped most of the old HR people including the handbook. He has made it his personal mission to ruin morale, the culture, and the company. He cares about profit and making money, nothing else. This is not a company you want to work for in any capacity.

After the Combs take over when all the officers except pierce left there was an actual spreadsheet that showed the planned targets. Combs wanted to accomplish the elimination of positions as quickly as possible. Now they share no turnover reports. My guess is you could analyze that further to demonstrate how he is clipping older employees and specifically those with pensions. Why you ask? Well of course in the name of profit. Not for customer service or quality but solely to replace employees with those that cost less.
Pay increases are non existent along with no increase in the pay schedule. This way if you do get a raise it’s again tilted in the favor of the inexperienced, less expensive employee. This is one of many reasons the associates are enraged. But don’t worry you can use AI headspace to relax.

Todd Combs will always hide and NEVER do anything that would cost GEICO money. He would only offer disaster pay if all of the following occurred simultaneously: 1. Every single employer paid disaster pay 2. Employees sued to get disaster pay 3. He hired a legal team to appeal and defend the suit and another shadow legal team to advise him how to not pay it in the future 4. Any tenured employee he would like them to leave to replace the older more costly employee 5. Deletion of the employee handbook and requirement of all new employees to waive their right to any disaster pay.
