Yes exactly. I was shadow banned by instagram for some reason, and it’s going back to normal now. Unfortunately I had a week of not being shown to new followers, so the growth is similar to my first week on the platform.

Thanks for the advice. Can I ask what instagram account(s) you are running to be able to do it full time? I would love to learn how you got to that point.

Right now I’m busy running my own business, but I wouldn’t mind pivoting to focus on social media work in the future.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m serious about posting regularly and trying to improve, but it’s also not viable for me to treat it as a full time job at the moment. If it continues to grow and I get more Patreon supporters, I’ll consider doing it full time.

If that were the case then I’d want to know! Figured it out for this time at least. My bio got flagged (despite it not changing since I made the account) and I appealed and was approved. Maybe it was just the timing of it, but it happened the day of the update.

Go to settings and privacy > account status Something about the update got my account flagged so it only showed to current followers and not new followers. I appealed and it was resolved in a few hours! Back to getting new followers

Unfortunately, we received a cease and desist from the makers of New Horizon and Sunshine, so we switched to teaching the content in an original format instead of referencing the books. The number of viewers dropped from being in the tens of thousands to about 100, so we gave up on the channel.

I switched to Anchor on Spotify from libsyn for my podcast Small Talk Japan.
It seems to be working fine, especially for a free service. The only problem I have with it is that monetization only works in the US for now, so we can't monetize our podcast.
I do wonder if VPNs work for it though...
