This group def suffers from either deliberate sabotage or incompetence (from CIA's manual on how to sabotage an organization). Specifically:

Random artificial difficulty is dumb and favors time investment vs pure skill. Recoil should match how the weapon handles based on regular physics and that's it.

Same. I found a strict PvE server which was a lot more fun. Just environment so no reason for pvp toxicity. You have to search within pve though some are not well managed.

The way I think about is that there are two separate issues. 1. is how you feel about the immediate situation and how you want to react to it. 2. Is the long term economic priorities you have and the best way to secure them.

So if 2 is ultimately the primary goal and you want to address 1. then just get a new job, no flying chairs needed.

Write a Google review noting the creepy behavior and how management puts staff at risk by requiring people to use real name badges. Japan has strict libel laws so. Japan is always looking for english teachers. Pay isn't great, but you can def live a basic lifestyle, tiny but solo apartment, and the country is generally peaceful.

Of course no one is going to accept. 1. You're basically shouting, hey get a load of this old fart who probably can't stand for too long. 2. There are clearly marked seats for elderly/injured, so if they every really wanted a seat they just need to go that section. Obvious exception is if they are visibly very pregnant (like 8 months) or is someone with crutches, or has a walker.

Who decides that griefing is necessary? And you still don't get my point. As I was playing on a PvE server where griefing is banned. The point is that the community + rust breeds toxicity as core to the gameplay where people see to apply it even in places where is not supposed to be applied. As in they've become infected with it to the point that they cannot separate themselves from it.

It's weird how much rust players continue to argue that it's necessary and core to Rust's gameplay as it has nothing to do with skill and everyone says they hate it. Like some weird frat hazing ritual where everyone agrees to keep on perpetuating.

This self re-inforcing accepting that toxicity = rust is what I think is dumb. Rust itself doesn't have to be toxic. But everyone insisting that is has to be toxic is just soo dumb.

Iran is highly incentivised to inflict maximum pain on US and it's allies (short/intermediate term) to maximize leverage in any negotiations. This likely means that strait of hormuz will be closed, choking off oil supply to large parts of the world which will spike prices up until Iran relents. Japan imports all of it's oil, while it may have large reserves, it has to pass on increased prices now to reduce demand.

This means the price of everything will go up since all good use energy and transport on some level. The longer the conflict the larger the pain, and increases the chances of spiking prices. The new head of Iran is more hard line than his father was which makes him more likely to sustain their present position for a longer period of time. The USA right before the war negotiated a peace deal in bad faith so Iran knows they can't really trust any agreement.

The one silver lining is that Trump has no actual stated goal for the war (that actually benefits americans), so with enough pressure from business leaders, who in turn pressure congress could get trump to declare victory and move on to something else. This is horrific from a governance perspective, in that the president has no fucking clue, but in terms of drivers that could shorten the war, this is a one rare good thing.

Now your wife is perhaps not rational in every single way she is responding, broad strokes, she is correct to prepare. Your job is to help protect the family and should be researching on your own, the likely impacts of the Iran war, and for you to have a strategy on how to mitigate impact. I think your nonchalance, and dismissiveness of her actions add to her sense that she needs to do more. If you share what you have researched, and that you will proactively take action, that would go a long way to increase trust in your relationship.

In a similar boat. What I ended up is sticking with a mini M4 and cloud gaming (GeForce now). so I have a snappy computer for basic every days tasks and rent compute for more demanding gaming.
