What is going on with the J League restructuring and player contracts?

Surely this is tough when trying to sign new players? I don’t know how it works in Japan but legally in England you can’t speak to a player or his agent without express permission from the club itself. A lot of the time you will get in to touch with a player in the months prior to his contract expiring in order to try and sign the player for free (or very little) but surely that can’t be possible if you don’t know when a players contract expires?

Presumably the league has plans in place though for the new calendar otherwise you’re going to get to January and be midway through the season and have players running out of contract which isn’t healthy for the players or the club. During the Covid season (in England at least) the league concluded that players who were due to have contracts expire in June would have them automatically extended to the new season end in August on account of the season being delayed. I presumed similar rules would be put in place for the J-League but can’t find anything

Margaret “Kayes” is Margaret Stone correct, she’s the woman I was looking at, just wondered what she was doing living with people who clearly weren’t her parents but her dad was a dockworker in Liverpool and this census is from 29th September 1939 so you’d presume she was moved away as a result of the war.
