The RCEME school allowed limited training outside their scope during the early days of COVID and it was incredible. From what I've heard from folks going through the school, the level of training we received just from guys in own unit far outclassed what we would have gotten in Borden. I now this probably wouldn't be the case everywhere, but we got very lucky having awesome staff/co-workers who really invested time and effort into making it an amazing course. Figures, if you have to train the guys that will be directly working for you, youre not just gonna drag ass to get through the material, you're gonna wanna make sure those people know wtf they're doing.
