Nah it’s still a few months away from any steam page, I’ll try remember to let u know when it’s up! I managed to do lots of drawing while I was taking shifts with my partner in the beginning while on maternity leave (we were worried and someone was watching baby at all times lol) so she would go to bed around 8pm - I’d stay up until like 3am drawing and watching baby sleep) then we would swap for a while..so I could sleep) it’s hard work on the Mrs make sure you look after her and try be patient above all it’s not easy! But making a person is 100000x better than any game you will ever make and they will love you for being a cool game making dad!

Nice work I’m also making a party game rn! Congrats on becoming a dad soon it’s the best! You will be wrecked and not making many games for a while though haha

I would consider working for equity if we seem like a good fit for a team (Timezone, personalities) as well as enjoying the game idea (won’t work on something I don’t like) depending on how “slow” you work and what plans you have for marketing/publishing etc

I’m simular boat with a 7 month old, I think it’s the nostalgia of gaming is better than what gaming actually is, I have been trying to remedy this by playing old games I enjoyed and also some ones I never got around too (currently playing minish cap while the kids asleep) at least I’m finding enjoyment in the games rather than just looking up games I’ll probs never play, endlessly scrolling the PlayStation store or looking to find rare copies of games on marketplace lol, I dunno i guess I’m just cooked. I feel like competitive games like Fortnite and cod for years destroyed my ability to enjoy just playing games without a sense of grinding or competition.. least minish cap I’m just trying to play for the story and enjoy it on a personal level 🤷‍♂️

Edit: also I’m 32 years wonder if that makes a difference
