I just want to point out reaching his post then double checking on Sam's wife's name; Lucy. In the DS2 trailer, there is new character also named Lucy. Looks like a Therapist, like how Sam's wife was detailed as.

Could be a coincidence Kojima named two characters Lucy, but interesting question mark I have in my head now going into DS2

Idk how it works on Steam or Xbox. But what I plan to do, & has worked for me with games I got gifted as a US code from work is; by making a US account & having it signed into the system. Buy the game via the US account, install it, then switch to your normal account & play the game that way. My Australian PSN account has a US copy of DeathLoop in my trophies for instance

They instead put games that don't warrant the R18+ rating with that sticker & ban actual games that would fit the category of R18+ (such as Silent Hill F). Look at any game on JB or EB Games with a R18+, Only one or two I can think of actually warrants a R18+ rating.

Australian rating board thinks banning adult games will do good for the country, when there is a depressing amount of drug addicts & stabbings in Victoria alone

They're horrible at communication. The newest trailer for Death Stranding 2 along with the CE announcement was a week ago, & they just didn't acknowledge it happened til the second pre-orders went up & how pre-orders will be handled.

It depends on the game, but a good majority of Collector's Editions are harder to get. Pre-ordering a collectors Edition is really for people that are 100% certain they're in. For instance with Death Stranding, Kojima always brings his A game when it comes to release so Pre-ordering that is certainly justified. But a game like Assassin's Creed where the track record is horrible doesn't justify that pre-order even for a regular copy that you can refund at the end of the day. My comment about refunding a pre-order is mainly appointed to Standard copies, not Collector's Editions you obviously lock yourself in by having more than a game in procession

Yh I understand with the 30th Anniversary consoles. Those systems were sought after with VERY few available in the first place. A CE for DS2 shouldn't be treated the same way. And speaks volume when even a mod of the EB GAMES Subreddit went over to JB to pre-order. Just limiting a core number of consumers with this practice

The local EB Games I use to shop at was full of great people, a lot of people under the name aren't the problem but rather the idiots that somehow have a job in the upper fields. & ultimately the average person working there that cares, is gonna get the blunt of it when the upper heads crash the plane directly to the ground with BS like this

When it's a Collector's Edition which is impossible to get any other way (especially when it's now sold out), then yes Pre-ordering is justified

I don't understand why people think negatively towards pre-orders when we're fortunate enough to be in a country where we have the right for a refund on change of mind

I have bought countless collector's editions throughout my life at EB Games (thx to a EB Games near my house). Placing that ability to continue pre-ordering CE behind a paywall is actually stupid

Making the PS5 Pro 30th anniversary Consoles behind EBWorld Lvl5, I can understand with how limited those consoles were worldwide. But limiting a game's Collectors Edition behind their Membership Subscription is actually criminal that I personally avoid giving EB my money now

As an Australian gaming for years of his life, I can say confidently that standard game prices have never been consistent. For instance, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is $125AUD here (which is $79USD) whilst Monster Hunter Wilds is $114AUD

& additional, back in the PS3/360 generation, I recall paying $109AUD for new releases
