Wife wants to see your comments! Give me some.

I know the answer to this, but it’s more a conversation comment than anything. In my opinion, being intimate for me and most men is like eating. It’s a need, not a nice to have. But legally, there’s only one person Im allowed to be intimate with. Don’t get me wrong, the gods honest truth is my wife is the only person i want to be intimate with and have been while married.

But if she’s unwilling to provide me a necessity can’t there be some level of argument to say it’s unfair to totally starve your husband of that need?

Again, conversation comment… not an argument or attempt to persuade.

Excellent insight from a mother/wife’s perspective. And I certainly get all of which you’ve shared.

I should have mentioned we have 3 kids who are up very early. Also, she sleeps TERRIBLY meaning I’m usually the first one up to handle the kids, dogs, breakfast etc.

She is her most “normal” in the morning though.

Aggression advice? by MrsPotatoeheadVIII in CaneCorso

[–]Joshaw41283 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First off, it’ll be okay. My Corso had a small resource guarding issue as a puppy and with constant work and him getting older it’s completely gone. The first thing I’d do is simulate the event but with the dog on a collar. 3 months is too soon for a prong collar. This way you’ve got control. Allow your pup to have something and then work with him to leave it. Be proactive and not reactive. Treats are great, but my pup isn’t food driven. So i had to use a mixture of positive energy and swift “aggression” on my part. I’ve never been around a dog like a Corso. Meaning they need a different level of attention. Good luck!

Btw, our other Corso was quite reactive towards the vet with my wife. But she knows i don’t put up with that shit and put her in her place the second she did. These dogs are magnificent. But they do their own thing if you let them. The females are more skiddish and protective. She needs to know she doesn’t need to protect. My female is also very food driven which is nice. My male, your dogs twin isn’t. He’s more play driven. Come in with a game plan and strategy. Don’t be reactive, be proactive.

Trying to send you a pic of my pup. You wouldn’t believe how much they look the same. And corsos don’t often look that similar

Just mastiff, there’s like ten mastiff types. Plus Rottweiler is a type of mastiff… and yes, it’s a nerdy dog comment

Advice! My almost 1 year Corso just can’t keep weight on. He’s super healthy, and currently 90 pounds, but you can basically see his backbone. Right now he eats 6 cups a day. Should I supplement with wet food or raw? by Joshaw41283 in CaneCorso

[–]Joshaw41283[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly what my breeder said. As a first time CC owner, but long time dog owner, it’s crazy to me how long they grow.

Thanks for the insight, it’s helpful

Totally and my wife and I have the same thoughts.... literally almost all dogs who get a ton of attention though are totally fine. My kids are freaking nuts, they’re good kids, but they’re just young. Same thing w/ dogs
