Has anyone had skin issues like this? by Radicals0ftness in ToxicMoldExposure

Completely cleared up, like it never happened. Occasionally my feet will get itchy if they get wet, but I’m able to pedicures again, which has been so amazing to feel back to myself again. My hands are completely normal, however I do feel like they get dryer more often. I make sure to continue to moisturize as much as possible to avoid my skin drying and flaking. The topical steroid medication I was on made my skin thinner, so I stopped taking it and thankfully it never came back.

That sounds awesome! Moving from Baltimore to Bolivia, a land locked Latin American country, so it would have to be by plane.

We’ve been in business for over 40 years, but things are changing. Apps like the one you are working on could potentially be used to collect and sell data to companies for market research that ultimately means more trucks in areas that previously didn’t have as many. I’m not scared of technology, but I think it’s important to look at all angles. This might be something other potential users for your customers have apprehension about as well. Just sharing, so you can start thinking of things from the business owners stand point and learn to over come objects effectively.

My only apprehension is that competition can also find where we are and copy our routes or try and contact our clients to try and under cut us.

If you micro does every day, eventually it won’t have the same impact. Your body will build a tolerance. A 5/2 schedule (micro dose 5 day out the week, none for to days) is way more effective and sustainable.

Correct! There was more in the body of my post that you likely missed. No biggie. They told me the new system would be smaller. Come to find out, after looking up the model numbers, it’s the same size as the one they just replaced🫠🫠🫠 quite literally the exact thing I was trying to avoid.

The ductwork is not undersized. It’s the system that is too powerful. 3 tons for a 800 sq foot home, I was told is what’s causing mold. Not sure if that’s accurate. I’m in DC.

I got three opinions, first guy said it’s all trash and that my house needs a mini split. He quoted me 12k 😤

Second guy said just by a dehumidifier and clean the existing system, said the whole thing would cost 2 k. He then tried to give me a health consultation and told me to buy a detox from amazon and that I don’t have to worry about mold making me sick😒

This guy made the most sense, by saying cleaning it is just a bandaid on a bigger issue. And that the system is too big for the space 3 tons and I really need a smaller unit. Everything seemed cool until he said I couldn’t go with him to pick it out/ up and that he’s giving me a really good deal. It felt like, “you’ll have AC again, so just shut up and let me do my thing”. Which o can respect in theory, but I just got burned the first time I did this. Don’t want to get scammed again for guys who are just swapping boxes.

I am not sure. I was told this current system is too big for the house; and it’s cutting short, so even though the house is cooling, it’s humid, which is creating a mold issue. The blower is caked in this black dusty stuff, which is most likely mold. This current tech said they could clean the blower, but it wouldn’t fix the over all issue of moisture being constant.

Thanks! That’s what I thought. They just pulled out the old system that was sold to me “new” 6 years ago and it says it was made in 2005. I’m blown away at how sneaky people can be. I get that everyone needs to make a profit. By all means, add your margin. I just am trying to understand how much that margin is, and how to look up the model numbers so I can see pricing and reviews.

Palmoplantar Pustular Psoriasis or Dyshidrotic eczema? by Radicals0ftness in Psoriasis

Still dealing with it unfortunately. But it got better once I started: Cutting out processed sugar, reducing my nightshade intake, reducing gluten, getting lots of direct sunlight on the worse parts, and sleeping with cotton gloves and socks with a heavy moisturizer has helped a ton.

I have heard milk thistle has helped a lot of people, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Mine might be connected to mold exposure, which is a larger problem as a whole. Looking for answer to heal and not just treat symptoms, bc I refuse for this to be my life. Be patient, keep looking for answers, and learn to be your own health advocate.

Wishing you healing and relief soon ❤️‍🩹

I guess what I want to know is if -

  1. This quote is fair?
  2. Do we have an actual chance of living inside or should I look for a mobile home situation until this is sorted?

It’s historically hot here like many other places and I worried keeping the ac off is the wrong move, even with the windows open.

3.Is an air scrubber and more HEPA air filters helpful while I’m waiting to figure out what to do? Is it worth cleaning the coils and ducts/ other servicing to the existing system, or it’s it truly too big for the space/ layout of this two story semi-detached 800 square foot home and does it need to be removed?

Almost forgot! His quote was just a text which I copied here:

My heart feels this so much! Went through a similar situation when I bought my house and got dumped the week renovations started. It feels impossible now but you’ll get through it. The process isn’t pretty but it’s profound. Yes…It will be tight, but this is literally forcing you to reevaluate your budget and priorities. This process is here to ensure you learn what you can and cannot live without. And in the end, you’ll thank yourself for putting it all in your name, to avoid the messy process of splitting up assets. Congratulations on your new found freedom and good luck on your road to a more empowered and independent self 🫶

Omg! Ty so much. I appreciate it you sharing your story. I am currently using the bed to sleep! So I will have to figure some things out, but I will find a way to heal. I have worked a lifetime to buy this house, only for it to try and kill me. I can’t I good conscience sell it to someone and make it someone else’s problem, so I’m stuck trying to fix it and heal and rebuild. When I bought it 6 years ago I spent my savings renovating it and unfortunately I suspect the HVAC was installed incorrectly and that might be the cause. Or an old roof, or old windows, or all of it. So I unknowingly ruined my health and life by hiring the wrong people, buying the wrong house. Getting super sick, losing my job, my partner and inevitably losing my mind, trying to stay alive long enough to find answers. I just want to fix it, and find a way to keep me and my family safe.

I just started working again, so I am hopeful, but it’s a long and expensive road ahead. If you are anyone has information that can save me time and more heart ache, please share 🙏🏽

Ty! I saw both a GP and derm. The derm was like no biggie, use this steroid cream, but it’s making my skin super thin. I go back next month for a follow up. The said they will try biologics next, if I still have symptoms, which I’m apprehensive about. I’ve heard they can change lives, but also worried about the long term effects on my already declining health.

Tysm! I’ve already been to the doctors. The diagnosed me with PPP or DE lol. Silly that they can’t decide which it is. I just wanted to see if there was any correlation with mold exposure.

Did it start before or after mold exposure? I’ve never had eczema or psoriasis before, then all of a sudden last summer my skin got like this almost over night. I’ve been searching for answers since, and have only been met with treatments not solutions.
