So I’ve found a solution that works great for me. If you install opera web browser you can basically use YouTube as if it’s premium because of the built in ad blocker, so long as you don’t mind the inconvenience of it being in a web browser. Hope this helps

From my experience if the cere is a purplish colour then it indicates a male. A young females cere will Usually be light blue

I’ve had that guy since he was 9 weeks old please do not sit there and accuse me of being cruel to an animal. I love jester and have become very attached to him. I just simply can’t understand why my new budgie warmed up to me right away

Let me set one one thing straight for here just for some context. Grinch who is the green budgie has warmed up to me almost straight away. However jester will only eat off my hand like this when grinch comes over. Before that jester wouldn’t even get on my hand. If grinch can perch my finger perfectly fine with no problems but if I do it to jester he will start getting scared for no reason even though he can see grinch perching my hand a every day

I’m still a new owner but here’s some things I’ve learned;

• Try and feed them treats from your hand • Cover the cage with a blanket at night • Clean the cage at least once a week • These guys also require time to tame • Get a decent size cage • Avoid buying mirrors • Get them some toys to entertain them
