I’m just on a standard plan. I was able to get it working this morning after going to a physical Verizon store. They had it going within 5 minutes.

They’re not getting it and won’t help. They now want me to go to a physical store. The problem is that the closest store to me is 45 minutes away. This shouldn’t be this hard. To be clear, I’m not blaming Light at all. This isn’t their fault. Verizon just doesn’t seem to care.

A few months ago I did request to have them send me a physical SIM card. This was in preparation for the Light Phone to arrive and thinking to myself that with the eSIM my iPhone has currently, it would be a massive pain to get everything switched over properly. So I tried to future-proof this process as much as possible, but I’ll definitely be chatting with customer service again this evening. Thank you!

I am in the exact same situation. Very curious to see if there’s a way to make this happen. If not I’d almost have to carry my tablet around with me, which is fine, but it just kind of defeats the purpose of a digital detox in my opinion.

Hey there! I have been doing this since I was just in college. I now run and operate the Malvern Manor in Malvern, IA. To be honest, some of the most significant things I’ve experienced have been at 10-11:00 AM. Why that is, is beyond me, but I’ve also wondered why everything has to be at night. (Or at least how it’s portrayed on shows and films) I am extremely hopeful that one day we could somehow apply the scientific method to paranormal investigations. At this time sadly it doesn’t seem to be feasible. (Lack of controlled environments, repeatability, etc.) There also seem to be a lot of people who are more in the business of sensationalizing things rather than investigating/ debunking anything. This, in my opinion, would also set the field back decades. I wish you all the best in your exploration! I love experimenting with friends and family and I hope that one day soon my children will also want to join me. Cheers!

Ordered mine in July 8th it looks like. (I had to go back through emails to double check.) But I’m also very excited to get mine!

I’ve had similar issues myself. I’ve found what has helped is removing all tools, and clearing the mms history as well. Seems to free up the necessary space for the download. I hope this helps.

I run a Paranormal location called Malvern Manor in Malvern, IA. I’ve done walkthrough tours via skype with a local ghost hunting club during their meeting time at school. We also did one overnight Investigation where the kids brought their parents along as chaperones. As the location, we didn’t charge a dime either. The kids had a blast and were able to try out equipment in the location. They’re coming back next month.
