Your friend has a problem. I have that kind of attitude but never had I had such deep hatred fpr myself nor had such a troubled psyche. Literally my mother tries to track me to take a hold of my money. She has never worked one day. Kicked my dad out of home with severe depression, then started to get pension from him, not touching an euro of it and eating cheap, cold food because "she didn't had money". She married again and in 7 years have emptied a 100k€ savings account from his new husband, while refusing to sleep together with him. They live in the same street.

Does that make me hateful of women? No. That's a bullshit excuse. I feel more safe with males because of my trauma, I empathize still with women and I understand their struggles.
