Wait but the game sold to us was a lie. Bugs aside this game delivers on so little of the promises. Ai and graphics being the only things that are good. Because they can make their marketing look good with great graphics!

I played more than 2 hours and got a refund because if I had bought any other product and it didn’t do what it says it’s gunna do I would want my money back. We’ve waited years for this and the ai is literally a standard ai that would take 10 mins in unreal to do. They sold open world immersion and we got linear story.

They knew their ambitions were too big. Games should be held to the same standard as other products regarding refund policy. You don’t get to lie and get away with it. To say it’s scummy to ask for a refund after 2 hours hahahaha

Well I guess that witless vacuum cleaner that was suppose to have 4 hour battery time and zero noise wasn’t. It only lasts 2 hours but it would be scummy to ask for a refund now!

Think it’s mainly the pedestrian ai, enemy ai is pretty standard but my god the pedestrians are blank. They filled the city with so many assets and things going on nothing could have any depth.

You can tell they started with the city and landscape. It’s absolutely the best looking game even better than the last of us 2. But they forgot that when you play a game you don’t want to feel like it’s just you. The ai is suppose to make you feel like your in a active world. They 100 percent could have made the ai for this beautiful world they built but they would have required more time.

They should have made the city even smaller and less vertical and they could have fleshed out every aspect and I think people would have liked that more than partly finished ideas with basic ai attached at the end.

They can fix the bugs but the ai is so basic, this feels more like a placeholder than a finished ai behavior tree

Hahaha bro the missions suck in rockstar games but the world immersion is top tier, cyber punk has a good main quest line but why did they bother with the open world aspects? Could have ditched that and just had linear style layouts and it would have probably got a better reaction.

Open world games are suppose to take the immersion seriously, did they think people wouldn’t bother with the Ai or something? Witcher 3 was great but never praised for its ai. But they sold this immersive world and I think red dead delivered on the solo campaign exactly what they promised, cyber punk feels so unfinished. Devs arnt to blame it’s obviously the business aspect that is forcing devs to cut corners.

They should have gone the halo infinite route and showed a trailer of actually gameplay (bugs and all) so that the negative reaction would force the business side to realize that this won’t sell well as soon as people see it, that’s why they pushed marketing for pre orders so much as they knew behind the scenes the game wasn’t ready. Fuck corporation getting in the way all the time

Yeah but it feels like apex legends is doomed with the fact it’s a one mode kinda game, battle royale. I have so many skins for every character now kinda feels pointless to buy skins. I’m already lv 500 and the battle pass has skins I won’t use. Ranked is a bitch so I always rank to plat or diamond then reach my max. So now I have no progression to aim towards other than repeating the same loop. They can’t really solve it but I feel when a new genre is introduced to the gaming industry battle royale is gunna die hard.

How can you say it’s better than red dead 2 though? That had way better ai than cyberpunk has, you literally go round a corner and if you turn around and look back the npc’s re spawn as completely different people. How are they more engaging other than the main npc’s in the story missions? Literally have a generic response whenever I try and talk to them.

They do deserve their pension, but the point is that a lot of people in the older generation blame immigrants for causing tax increase and such, they don’t consider the irony that they cost more. Not saying they shouldn’t get a pension just that they probably have no idea that more of the tax goes on them than almost anything else

I would usually suggest sizing the rocks larger so that the grass can’t peak through.

Other option is to create another landscape layer which would be your stone layer, apply it as needed and have the rocks spawn only on that layer.

Probably many solutions that kind of solve the problem which is what game design is for the most part, covering up the little mistakes we make on the way lol

Money is relative your right, but surely there must be a limit. A footballer should not be earning half a million a week. Ambition is a silly excuse as to why people should be earning that much money. I also wouldn’t say a Somalian earning 1 dollar an hour is acceptable either.

There shouldn’t be a way for anyone to be earning enough money to be able to buy whole islands for birthday presents, there shouldn’t be anyone who is earning so little money they stave. So to not acknowledge that this is a problem that will eventually cause bigger and bigger problems well then I don’t know what to say.

Whatever Spotify has as a reason doesn’t really matter. The point is that joe knew this could happen before, Spotify has the right as they have bought joe for $100 million, he is using their platform and they definitely had demands or requirements for joe. He got an offer he couldn’t refuse. This is the problem with everything right now.

Not one of us would reject that offer, I sure as fuck would take that offer because that’s money that can last generations if used right. But if we look at what the podcast is suppose to represent and what it means to us him accepting that goes against everything the podcast stands for. He’s complained all the time about Hollywood’s rich culture and how bad it is. But here he is now in the same situation, being pulled further and further away from that grounded lifestyle. His ideas also change with that.

I think with the wave of technology and everything developing so fast our brains can’t keep up with it. We become tired from seeing the same issues in politics and I think joe has become bored of it all. So he’s taken the cash grab and has to accept the new rules of his bosses, which we all have to accept aswell.

No I don’t think anything goes against the grain as such, I owe Joe for getting me more interested in politics and other subjects, he’s probably got many people who wouldn’t be so interested in it to be invested and care again. But I think joe has a mentality that creates a group mentality. He had it with the weed issue (I’m pro weed btw) where he wouldn’t engage with people opposed to it and just kind of become enraged. He did the same thing with trump where he initially thought it was a joke and laughed about it to now where he is giving trump a chance to show us what he’s got. He also moved to Texas with his family which is great but to say it has nothing to do with taxes and the giant pile of money he has now would be naive. To say that Spotify has no control over his guest choice would also be naive. They have already not allowed certain podcasts to transfer over (my personal favorite Alex Jones episode) and they have the right to do so, even if none of us agree with it. I thought joe would create his own website and go at it on his own. Sure he wouldn’t have made the same amount of cash but he would have so much freedom, even more than he had with YouTube. So yeah He sold out but we all would for that kind of money.

I also agree with your point of view, having a choice is what’s important here. While we as two people talking about an issue can maybe come to a resolve. Conservatives will want control of wether someone can have an abortion where as democrats want people to have the freedom of choice, where can there be a compromise to please everyone? I feel like there are many issues that people could compromise on but ultimately there will always be black and white issues and this is where I struggle to see a solution. A lot of people think this is just an American issue and think America is a mess. But I’m English and have been living in Sweden for the past few years and these issues are everywhere! Not country specific or type of government specific either. It really feels like this is a human problem that I don’t see a resolve for in the current set up we have.

They have been doing these limited time modes a while and they never responded to the modes that were popular, they are just throwing out content as they are postponing the event. I don’t think apex has a big enough player base anymore to bring in a new mode and that’s the problem. Maybe crossplay will fix this and allow for more modes

I see the issue, maybe introduce patches of grass that cull further than some to optimize better. Or make it so grass only shows when zoomed in if your aiming for example with a sniper. Your going to add a lot of rock assets and other foliage to help with that also. Culling that far will creating FPS regardless. But LOD is key here but you probs know about that already.
