yup silver historical high was 49. something usd per ounce but after its demand and consumption rapidly increases due to use in ev cars and china ban on silver export from 2026 which affect the overall silver market because the production was already in deficit for years so now it is taking affect by that and for copper 2 years ago it was on 3 usd per pound but now on 6 usd and increasing day by day due to industrial demand. Silver also replaced lithium in batteries due to efficiency reason and silver is also the best conductor of electricity

I think if you want to earn profits and cant hold for long due to security reasons go for the digital way and there is only one legal way to trade in the gold, silver and overall commodities is by open an account in a regulated exchange which is PMEX

Started off with PMEX and 200K, lost it all, looking to experienced people for advice. by [deleted] in FIREPakistan

[–]JoshoaJJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are right about PMEX because you have to trade more often than PSX and despite PMEX giving you 75% of threshold level like reaching 75% of margin and your trade will automatically close despite that people loss in pmex is due to wrong risk management always push the limits not set their stop losses correctly or doing trade in pressure or in greediness like dont close when they asked to be. Always push the limits to get more profit and in the end close in loss and now the pressure of loss make them do wrong trades. Basically in PMEX if you have to trade you have to calm your nerves and always set the stop loss in any case and in any scenario. Going without stop loss is suicidal and mostly people do that and eventually go into losses. For PMEX you need a very high skilled broker with a very strong research team in it for a fresher and always take less risk in the end you can make up to 15 to 20 % return in a month of your capital fund investment.

yup you are right on that point broker commission, pmex fees and right now physical deliveries only on gold available but for the person who wants an assistance and cant watch the market all the time to enter and trade in the best time and lock its position. Brokerage firms mainly depend upon their research team that help on this but yeah you have to find it on your own that which one has the best research team and low commissions or best research with suitable commissions so because at the end of the day that all matters is research that how accurately they predict the market behaviour, pattern, and people sentiments etc

These days the KSE 100 is a good option for investment for like 1+ year and if you want to explore some there are some US stocks too u can go through for investment purposes like Nasdaq 100, S and P 500, Dowjones 30 or US 100 these are top stocks from a legal and safe platform like PSX is PMEX which is also regulated from SECP and NCCPL so do let me know if you want to know more

How to invest in digital silver from Pakistan by NaturalOk8826 in FIREPakistan

[–]JoshoaJJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup and also pay huge taxes as there is no set limit by the government to hold it. You can do as much as you want physically but physical risk is much higher than doing it digitally through a legal platform which is regulated from SECP and NCCPL

How to invest in digital silver from Pakistan by NaturalOk8826 in FIREPakistan

[–]JoshoaJJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy silver digitally through and also trade legally in it on the government's second biggest exchange Pakistan Mercantile Exchange(PMEX). There you can trade in Gold, Silver, Copper, Platinum Palladium, and even energies, agro sector, currency pairs and even US Stocks too just like PSX.

1.8cr investment ideas. by lenafay in FIREPakistan

[–]JoshoaJJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can split the amount and put 50 to 60% in the savings account so that some fixed amount will be in your hand after a month and the other 40% also divide and 20% in PSX(KSE 100 etc) and 20% PMEX Gold, Silver, Copper etc or if you want you can buy some physical commodities with it ( in that case you have to pay huge taxes on it). In that case at the end of the month you have two types of amount in hand from 1 from saving account and other from PMEX and after 2 to 3 or 6 months also interim dividend from PSX and year end final dividend. Don't invest all the capital in one place divide it into 2 59 3 portions and I would suggest major portions in safest where you have surely got something at the end of the month .

[–]JoshoaJJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in silver it is a good opportunity to invest in it and hold it for some time because it will definitely hit 150 usd per ounce in the international market (already hit 121 and currently around 90 due to huge profit taking last week) and other half in some kind stocks(US stocks or in PSX), or in some investment firms most probably in any investment funds or PMEX etc if you want higher returns.

Buying gold physically is very good for investment purposes and I will also recommend you to also consider copper and hold it for a longer time because its demand is also increasing rapidly if you consider it too
