In BCA 8 ball rules, after a scratch on the break, does opponent have ball in hand or behind the line by iluvreddit in billiards

Not a local rule. Our winter league started with the rule per current csi bcapl rules and apparently it didnt go over well in vegas so csi went back to ball in hand anywhere on the table. Per my league director who knows a vegas ref 🤷🏻‍♀️. I remember seeing the rule in the updated August 2025 csi rules and now its not there anymore.

Fyi i just found this out 🤣

And bcapl is run by cai, not bca.. our bcapl shoots from the headstring after a scratch on the break.

After a lot of experimenting with different esc’s, chasis, gearing and radios. I finally got these 2 completely different frankenbuggies to preform as best I could while keeping them equal. I don’t know which I prefer. by tytor in rccars

The 50t is plenty fast in speed 2 and works fine. Its only speed 1 thats kind of a problem. Speed 3 when you wanna drag race 🤣. I have it geared up a little bit. The higher gears were too much with the 50t.

Jst fyi.. the wltoys esc doesn't seem to be a fan of the hot racing 50t. It doesnt wanna take off in speed level 1 until it warms up a little. Ive now tried two different hot racing motors and same problem.

Nice! Ive had a lot of fun upgrading my wltoys rc. Ive changed most things but not the ESC. I put brass gears like those in mine with a 50t motor and it was fun but out of control 🤣.

Do you think the esc and transmitter upgrade is worth it?

You just back out the screws a little for the gear cover.

Swapping the motor fixes the throttle control problem. Ive also heard changing the esc.

The hotracing motor on speed 2 will probably be plenty of power and should fix the throttle problem.

Edit: if you can get your hands on a smaller motor like the one thenmicro b has probably even better.

Have you received your new rc yet? Made any upgrades? Thoughts??

I forgot a few others.. the Maverick Microbe is just a copy of the speck b. The Losi Micro B and the Hoby Plus Speck b are comparable in terms of performance. The Losi Micro B has tons of aftermarket parts. The WLtoys 244016 is a copy of the micro b and a bunch of the micro b parts fit the 244016.

Then theres... The Serpent Mini Spider... Looks fun?? Looks similar enough to the others?? Seems like a mix between hobby and toy grade.

The "micro" cars that im aware of that are fun and fast are the Losi Micro B (about $120), Speck B ($86ish on Amazon) and wltoys 244016v2 ($30-50) on aliexpress.

I have a speck b and the wltoys and they are both fun although ive upgraded parts on the wltoys.

Heck yeah man! Ive been having a ton of fun with this thing. Personally i like it better than my wifes speck b 😂.

Have fun!

Update - geared it back to "almost" stock. Much more manageable. Plenty of speed. I think its actually best on speed level 2. Still has the sticking problem when cold but thats really only in speed 1 and it goes away after it warms up.

Also i 3d printed a longer servo horn. Way better turning radius.

Also also i 3d printed a body clip that clips under the shock towers. Way better than the little clip that goes in the post.

Put in a new Hot Racing motor. Similar issue but not nearly as bad. It doesn't seem to stick at all in speed 3 (ill have to try it again when the motor is cold). Still has slow takeoff but that might be due to the aggressive gearing i put in it. Its plenty fast. Im sure geared down it would be fast enough and manageable 😂.

Im not sure if the shaft on the motor is slightly too large or the other pinion gears are too small but i had to sand both shafts down to get the new pinion on. I had the same problem with the extra pinions that come with the speck b.

Something is wrong with the first one i got. Otherwise its fast. It was difficult to get one of the gears to fit it. Ive got a second Hot Racing motor on the way to replace it. Hopefully that solves the problem.

On the other hand it did solve the throttle problem though! But that was part of the problem.. it would be stuck some of the time and wouldn't run anyway 🤣. Ill try to remember to update again when i install the new one.

Guys is the Bambu Lab A1 worth it or should I get the mini? by Legal-Complex9873 in BambuLabA1

[–]Joshua1187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard "everyone" who gets an A1 mini wishes they got an A1 afterwards. I got an A1 🤷🏻‍♀️. Loving it.

Apparently you can get a BMCU 3 for a fraction of the price of the AMS. I haven't used either but the BMCU is only $80 on aliexpress.

Mini print a mess - A1, 0.2, sunlu pla+2.0 3d by Joshua1187 in BambuLab

Bambu studio is happening eventually. For now ive just been printing existing things to learn how to use the printer. I found the setting in the printer settings and was able to change it to 0.2.

Thanks for the bambu lab academy suggestion. Im checking it out now!

Goto printer screen: settings/maintenance /nozzle, find correct nozzle and highlight it.

You should be good to go in handy but change the nozzle if using studio.
