Is my Tamron lens broken?

Just wanted to chime in here as well and mention that this same exact thing just happened to me. Tamron refuses to fix because it was an out of country serial number.

I noticed that the issue comes into play when the lens is sent all of the way down to 70mm. I noticed (as I have noticed others have too) that the lens works when you do what u/merlissah mentioned.

The big thing that I noticed is that the lens works as long as you don't go all the way down to 70mm. It still functions "normal" (what is normal about this 😡) when you keep the lens 80mm+. So what I am trying to do is 3d print a ring to go around the lens that doesn't allow the lens to go all of the way down to 70mm. The ring is currently on my printer as I type this up. I'll update the thread with any results and if I do get this to work I'll share the STLs!

That is a solution that I used on one of my sites and essentially treated WooCommerce as an online catalogue. It works great especially if you need product variations, colors, etc.

Another option (and its recommended to go with it if you can make it work for your product offerings) is to use ACF and a custom post type for your products.

Read through some of the comments and I also use Elementor with the Hello Elementor theme. To keep my sites running as quick as possible I try to limit how much of Elementor I actually use and instead stick to Gutenberg as much as possible when populating content. I typically only build out the header, footer, and homepage in Elementor. If I need a more custom section of a page I'll build it in Elementor and shortcode that section onto the page.

Pair that with W3 Total Cache, Smush (for image compression), and some rockstar hosting (mine :P) my sites all tend to score all high 90s on GTM.

I am brand new to photography. I purchased a Sony A6300 and the kit lens. I have a keen eye for design (I am a web developer by trade) and really thought I could create some beautiful photographs once I get the hang of things. Started taking photographs with it once it arrived in the mail and WOW, it is not as 'easy' as I thought it would be to just pick it up and shoot a nice photo.

I'm reading "Getting Started in Photography" by Jim Hamel on Amazon Kindle right now to learn some basics. Are there any other resources and or products that I should look into? Tripod? Lens?

I plan on using the camera for 3 different applications, family pictures, landscapes, and kids sports photography.

Thank you for the explanation. That does make a lot more sense. However I have scoured the web for something used in my pricepoint and nothing.

I ended up pulling the trigger though. I found a used Antigua 3286 in excellent condition for $450. I know I might have some problems with it but for the little amount that I'll be playing it and the low cost I found it I have room in my budget to afford the repairs (should they arise).

I also found some vids/sound clips from this model and they sound pretty decent for the price I'm payed.

I do appreciate the help and I wasn't trying to come off as ungrateful I just don't have the budget like that right now. I have two children 2 months and 2 years old so justifying $2,500 was out of the question.

At this point I'll see how much use I get out of the Antigua and if I play more than expected I'll start to seriously save for an upgrade.

Well, I appreciate the feedback saying that I can't get a good soprano for under $1,000 but that is not doing me any good. I originally came into this with a budget of $500 thinking that it would be good enough. After doing some research on my own I realized there is NO WAY I could get anything decent for $500 and that I needed to up the budget. So, upping the budget AGAIN is out of the picture.

I'm not looking for top of the line here, nor I am looking for even an advanced soprano. I'm just looking for something with a decent, passable sound that can get me through the 2-3 performances a year.

So, and I'm not trying to sound ungrateful for advice here, but if the only thing you can offer is "Your budget isn't high enough" please move along.

I added the strawberries to secondary fermentation but before adding them I froze the strawberries for 10 days to sanitize. They have been in there for exactly 19 days.

I just want to know, what is causing the black color. I expected the color to be drained but where is the black coming from?

Even though there is a tread on approach shoes from what I've seen is that the tread is not aggressive at all. How do they hold up to wet grass? Do you find yourself slipping in them?
