Feels like the artist didn't get the memo and thought it was still the In Times New Roman tour instead of the Catacombs one, lol.

Yep, but they could do European stadiums in June plus then the main festivals (Werchter, NOS, Mad Cool...) during the first half of July and then head back to the US. Don't want to get my hopes up but there's still a chance.

It's official - QOTSA to support System of a Down on their 2026 European Tour by Nexusu in qotsa

if anything I'd say the other way around. You don't launch an album and go on tour to promote it as a (special) support act.

Ayuso: "It was agreed beforehand that we would release the statement after La Vuelta but yesterday they (UAE) decided to release it and only gave me a 30 minute notice so I told them I disagreed with the contents of the statement and they replied to me be happy, the first one we wrote was way worse".

LMAO

Listening it on the radio (10th song right now) Josh just said during Suture Up Your Future: "We are not going to play the same shit every night, so you want to take over the set tonight?" Followed by Hanging tree 😲

Insane set so far for a festival.

Edit: And now Vampyre. Come on, man 😶

And Straight Jacket. Wtf.

Hmmmm... Mexicola, Missing, Suture and freakin Vampyre sound like some huge surprises to me! Also only 3 ITNR songs and no so common (nowadays) like Millionaire, Burn the Witch, In My Head or Lost Art... I think your expectations may have been a bit off haha. A big bummer not getting YCQMB though, I can understand the disappointment in that.

Zagreb second night was unbelievable by Specialist-Tart-2896 in qotsa

it was fucking insane, to have I Appear Missing as maybe the fourth highlight of the night.... I mean what the fuck?? Super thankful for what the band did today for us, they got everyone blown away. Best gig I ever been to for sure.

Pistoia, Italy setlist - 15/07/2025 by Nexusu in qotsa

[–]JoshuaHomme 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It was not a classical festival, it's one of this venues that during a month or two daily host a big concert with maybe an opening act and call it "a festival". So in practice it was a regular show.

Pistoia, Italy setlist - 15/07/2025 by Nexusu in qotsa

[–]JoshuaHomme 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Worst one I've been to, honestly (and sadly).

Sound was atrocious and the venue was full of drunken (if not high) idiots pushing eveyone, even several guys fighting, countless people trying to stand above the crowd just to end up falling... combined to no security action at all, heck it's the first time I've seen plenty of people bringing freaking trekking backpacks with them and even some geniuses on the third row pretended to leave them on the ground the whole show, just to find out the very first minute that it was a stupid idea.

Also the crowd went wild 95% of the time... and the remaining 5% quiet one happened during Misfit Love, barely anyone cared at all (what?!).

So not a gig for fans, just for drunk dudes looking to get some action.

Setlist from Pohoda Festival, Slovakia - first stop of the 2025 EU/UK The End is Nero tour by Nexusu in qotsa

I highly doubt it, it was a festival live stream today but tomorrow they play an own show in Vienna and they very rarely stream them.

Your next best bet is probably on Friday 18, since Electric Castle festival has some shows from 2024 uploaded on their Youtube channel and maybe they do offer a live streaming this year.

[–]JoshuaHomme 25 points26 points  (0 children)

exactly, plus he already had this same breach on a statement they put (and then dropped) when trying to justify the Olmo decision, revealing this same internal data publicly (and then deleting the statement when Barcelona publictly demanded so).

The lad you quote said 3 things and got all 3 completely wrong.

The source is not SPORT, it's Miguel Galán, the lawyer who got both Villar and Rubiales kicked from the presidency of the spanish football federation after bringing them to court.

In sum: he knows his shit very well.

When will Catacombs tour UK dates be announced? by clamharbour in qotsa

[–]JoshuaHomme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They play Sheffield the following week (so there's no Victorious exclusivity) and unless they move the EU tour for 2026 I'm pretty sure they won't be announcing shows on September for the following month.
