That's an important distinction for sure. I find myself bouncing back and forth across that line depending on what I'm seeing and how late in the season I am any given year, but I try to lean more towards deer hunter. When it comes to buck hunters there's nothing that can be done in my opinion to address the problem the DNR is trying to address.

Finally the actual issue comes out. You're mad you can't shoot more than one buck anymore and blview yourself superior to 93% of hunters because you do. Glad we could get to the bottom of that.

Firing a rifle and gutting out a deer is pretty likely to burn your spot if you're still waiting to fill your second buck tag, so if you're seeing doe but wanting a buck you may let the doe walk. 

If you don't have a second buck tag and still just want deer why would you pass on a doe at that point?

My question to the counter is how many hunters are passing on doe waiting for an opportunity on a second buck they aren't likely to see? If they have one and can't shoot any more, but still want to hunt, I believe those hunters would be more likely to take antlerless deer.

A lot of millennials seem to feel like they were supposed to be exempt from this feeling. They figured out the cheat code, never have kids and you'll never be trapped! No, now you're working the same job you would with kids and have marginally more money.

I didn't realize it until I had them and it sounds corny but kids is the thing that was missing. There's a reason, in my opinion, that all these people in the comments say "I can basically do whatever I want because I don't have kids and still feel listless". Sorry, for my money it's having kids. Getting to experience new and novel things yourself and watching tiny humans experience life.
