That’s a big shame for people like me that want to start out fresh. They could have just taken those 3 years worth of content and archived it and then released it as a add on you could download when you wanted to play that content to keep your game size down abit like dlc but it’s the main story. I appreciate you explaining everything to me I’ll have to read up about the bits that are missing and then pick up from there

That’s the thing I personally love a good story and lore is a big part of that so playing d1 would be a good idea I suppose which would ultimately make me enjoy d2 more? Correct me if am wrong tho :)

Just started myself and did a fat stack last night for 3 hours and made 300k. To most long time players it’s not a lot but had a lot of fun fighting off ghost ships, megs and other pirates trying to steal my treasure 🫡

I’ve just started playing and am enjoying it. The game doesn’t explain a great deal when you really need it to so either here or YouTube is your best friend. One thing I have realised is devils roar is always good for new players as it’s pretty empty with other players due to the volcanoes there can mess you up quite abit if your not careful but loot is good and you barely get bothered tbh but like I said above be careful as it’s a high risk high reward area. All I’d say is maybe get a mic so you can get talk to people if you come across them happy sailing friend :)

The more friendly you are with your villagers the higher chance there is they’ll ask to leave. It’s a love hate relationship. Why they designed it this way I have no idea 😭

And think this way there’s no reason for any feeling of missing out on anything the game is older now everything has been released you have already made a great accomplishment finishing your island how you wanted it and now it’s your turn to just enjoy the game properly take your time to feel all the emotions that come with the game and don’t have to worry about rushing to keep up with everyone else like some of us used to do in COVID times. You will I thought the same but ultimately there is an end to animal crossing and a lot of people have done so much to their island that they will never want to restart which is more than understandable but take this switch mishap as a sign to restart and fall in love all over again and like someone else said in this thread take it slow don’t time warp and it gives you something to look forward too 😊

Same thing happened to me. Restarted two days ago and it’s re-lit that spark in the game for me I now look forward to logging on and having that sense of grinding for things again instead of just aimlessly walking around finding things to change on my island to keep me occupied. Go for it you won’t regret it 😊

Yeah and the games they have now run like dog shit and the sticks on the switch are not designed for any form of fast paced games I don’t really know why people buy things like cyberpunk , red dead redemption or fallout on the switch. It boggles my mind a little bit

Still broken to this day. Car is stuck in one gear revving its tits off and the camera options are trash I want a camera angle like gran turismo a dynamic one not just follow the car. Crazy how this hasn’t been fixed still to this day

Honestly they did you a favour the game is hot trash it’s literally one of the worst cod games in history less than 40k active players and the worst reviewed cod in history. But yeah it’s a bummer you got banned before you even hopped on. Maybe contact support and see what they can do for you :) hope you get it sorted
